The "elite" conversation actually started on a different thread...It came over here on page 2 when I just tried to give jeanquev a little jab, with this, in response to the header on this thread:
I'll say, fans that just don't understand how elite a player has to be in order to reach all the way to the NFL Hall of Fame...

It was just humor...naturally, jq didn't see it that way somehow, and fired back with something about Namath not being elite, and it was on from there.

 

At least we figured out that Bears fans are elite assholes

My girlfriend is a freakin Bears fan. lol! I was actually a big fan of the Bears this year. I'm in multiple fantasy leagues, but I was heavily invested in the Bears this season. In my main league, I had the Chicago D (F/A pickup of the year), Trubisky and Trey Burton. Wound up in 3rd place.....I Had my guy Tarik Cohen in a league that I won. I say "my guy", because two years ago, nobody on these boards was higher on Tarik Cohen than I was...That's in the books. I was also high on Trubisky, and one of the few that thought Chicago had a great draft that year.

The point of this is, lets just keep it to football...Nobody will ever be okay with the personal shit. You know what I mean...

 

Obsession with Bears fans? That's so far down on the list of obsessions for most Steelers fans...for me personally I couldn't give a crap about Bears fans, as far as the team goes I do tend to have more respect for that franchise than many other franchises in the league. Most Steeler fan obsessions are to call to fire the head coach any time a game is lost, fire the current DC (that one I actually can agree with), force AB to play or sit out the season, everything related to AB and Bell, fire the gm anytime a draft pick doesn't pan out, cut Ben for making comments about team mates on the radio, having 6 SB trophies, shitting bricks because they aren't the only team to have 6 and appear to be pretty far away from competing for a 7th, the Patriots (anything and everything), John Harbaugh's whining...Probably forgot a few, but the point is anything related to the Bears is pretty far down the list for most Steelers fans. Of course, there are exceptions to every rule lol
