Looks like Charlie Coyle is moving to Boston.

Donato and a 5th going to Minnesota. For some reason it won't be announced until later.

I expect that Matty is applauding.

I sure am. He can either plug in next to Krejci or finally fill that 3C slot. Either way a guy like him is needed. Kinda surprised that Donato and a 5 got it done, Coyle still under contract next year as well

like the Phils signing Bryce Harper ! We're all waiting in Philly for the good news. JUST SIGN HIM.

I think the Flyers move Elliott and Gudas on top of Simmonds. I doubt they move Ghost.

Size, speed, great versatility on the wing or at 2 or 3 C. Decent salary controlled for another year; good opportunity to assess his value to resign the local boy. Almost an ideal acquisition IMO.

3 days to go, tic-toc, where will the sabres go with Skinner? I say they hang on and hope to sign him for no more than $8M aav, I think he would insist on a 7 year term.

Matt Duchene traded to CBJ for Abramov and Davidsson.

Duchene playing against Ottawa tonight. Just seems like he’s gonna have a big game.
Colorado also seems destined to get Hughes for that pick.

Anyone know the condition on the 1st coming back to Ottawa for Duchene?

Stone has to be gone now. Hope Sweeney is trying.

If Duchene signs with cbj it's a first, if he doesn't, not sure.
I guess Panarin is as good as gone, I'm hearing florida.

Panarin + Barkov = bad news for us

I have a new found respect for Burke, he has the best stories and remembers deals he made over 20 years ago like it was just yesterday.

The russians like playing in florida, that will be a deadly combo, they need a goalie to take over Luongo.

The Sens potentially get two first round picks, one in 2019 and the conditional in 2020 if duchene signs with cbj.

Well, OTT gets CBJ's 2019 first, but that is top-three protected. So if the lottery was favorable to CBJ it's possible that it could be deferred to 2020.

The conditional first would be a second no. 1 going to OTT if Duchene signs with the Jackets. That would be 2020, (or 2021 based on lottery luck).

It's getting close to a lock that the Sens will finish in 31st and therefore give Denver the best odds - 18.5% - of getting no. 1. But, this is one of those years that going no. 2 is going to get you a great player. In fact, I like the top 10 of the 2019 draft a lot. It's not super deep like 2015 was, but the top end of the draft is elite.
