at this point, i have no hope or faith that either comes to Philly. LA was smart to avoid all of this bs and get AJ Pollack weeks ago. Regardless of getting either, i hope the Phils still concentrate on Kuechal and Kimbrel.

In my opinion, this deal is insanely LOW. He was only seeking $6.7 per year in arbitration. After the year he had, i thought he would seek $20 mil per. $45 is a bargain. Thanks Aaron !

Harper to the Phils better be next after all the false rumors posted Saturday. i smell 10-12 yrs and $325-350 mil for Harper.

Sounds like it will be a good contract for Machado...opt out after year 5 being reported.

Padres will likely regret this and I would be the chance he plays out the contract at 0.1% and the chance Padres win a WS with him at slightly more than that.

I can't wait to see him face ML pitching. I saw him play a few games in the minors early last season....looked like a giant playing with ants in terms of raw talent.

The sound of his bat connecting with the ball was unreal. Kid should be a stud.
