Not good, Markstrom gets hurt in practice and they throw 19 yr old dipietro to the wolves.

    7-2

With Demko out they had to it.........and I felted really bad for DePeitro......he had NO defense in front of him.

Canucks looked terrible last night and SJ Sharks are the # 1 team.

He's not nhl ready yet, rebound control is the thing they most need to perfect before getting called up. The leafs were in the same boat a couple of months ago. They traded a 5th to the panthers for hutchinson so they didn't have to bring in the young Fin kakisuo. He plays in the AHL, they didn't even consider Ian Scott who is still in the WHL.

That's why you never give up, you never go tank mode, anything can happen and sometimes its pretty good. Blues were last and now solidifying a playoff spot in a short period of time.

Bruins stepped it up a notch without Pasternak... Krejci and Marshand, especially.

15-18-0-4 for 34 points as of January 1st, 2019. They couldn't score and they couldn't stop pucks either. 5th worst team in scoring and 11th worst in giving up goals (102 GF/122 GA)… a deadly combo, lol. They had no production from anyone outside O'rielly. Nothing from Pietrangelo, Terasenko and the rest. Since then they have completely turned it around with balanced scoring and decent goaltending thanks to a rookie named Binnington (10-1).

Oh ya, somebody named Scwartz and Dunn are scoring now also. More of a balanced attack.

Tarasenko is the key, if he's not going, the team is doomed. Lucky they even had production from O'reilly, he's having a real good year.

Stanley Cup winning coaches don't grow on trees. No idea why the Caps would not resign him? Cheap and dumb of them !
