Most weddings here take place at banquet halls. They have a big room that fits up to 1000 guests and they provide the meal with free bar all night.

The menu is chosen by the couple and the guests don't find out until it gets served, so you won't know if they cheaped out before you put the money on the envelope.

Of course a lot of people still go to reataurants, it depends how big the wedding is.
