Venomous snake bites man, man bites wife so they could die together

(WSVN) - A venomous snake bit a man as he slept in India. When he awoke, he realized he wouldn’t survive for long, and bit his wife’s arm in an attempt to spread the venom so they could die together.

According to Gulf News, the incident happened Saturday in Birsingpur, a village in the Samastipur district.

Shankar Rai went up to his wife, Amiri Devi, and bit her wrist, telling her he loved her and wanted them to pass away together so they could remain united in death, India Today reported.

The husband died at a local hospital, but the wife received treatment for the bite, according to local paper Prabhat Khabar.

 

I thought the story would say he survived and go to prison for attempted murder.

 

This is the town where my wife is a school principal...from what I've seen, she may be shoveling shit against the tide...and for further proof...

Uber Driver Reports Would-Be Bank Robbers
NEWSER) – Things did not work out well for three Oklahoma City teenagers who allegedly planned to rob a bank—using Uber as transportation. Police say the Uber driver who took the teens to the bank Tuesday afternoon called authorities after hearing one of them say he had a gun and was going to "cap somebody," KOCO reports. Police say a gun was found on one of the teens after he tried to fight officers who arrived at the bank. The teens had apparently already arranged an Uber for their getaway, reports KFOR. Driver Brandon Case says he was waiting outside the bank when he saw the teenagers being taken away in handcuffs and was told by an officer that there had been a robbery attempt. "They called me for a getaway car," he says. "If you're going to do something like that, have your own car."

Brandon Keith Hatfield has been charged with burglary and criminal mischief; he also allegedly damaged part of a snack bar and toppled lamps and signs at the park before entering the "Oasis on the Nile" exhibit. "He jumped off a 5- to 6-foot structure into about 2 feet of water, then climbed up on the 20-foot structure later, which we know from the blood trail," says the park's director. "In our 125-year history, this is the first time anyone has tried to go swimming with the crocodiles." He was allegedly in the exhibit for four hours, per Action News Jax. The damaged statue can only be accessed by swimming in the croc pond. Security footage shows a 9-foot-long croc lunging at Hatfield, then "lock[ing] onto his left foot" when he escapes to the edge of the pool, per the arrest report. He ultimately managed to fight the croc off and get away. (This guy used a dead wallaby as bait to ride a crocodile.)

 

Ya gotta love the "concern for society" from the getaway Uber driver...lol! ...that's just good advice for the kids.

 

The kicker is, had the first Uber driver not called the cops, the second Uber driver would have added kidnapping to their charges..so they should be thanking Uber ultimately.

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. — An Oldsmar man was arrested Monday afternoon after detectives say he recorded himself performing sex acts on his Siberian Husky dog.

The investigation began on Janurary 25 after a person in another state contacted Pinellas County Animal Services about video and photographs on the internet of a man having sexual contact with a dog. Animal Services notified the Sheriff's Office.

Detectives obtained copies of the video and photographs.

According to detectives, the images show the man dressed in a black and white Husky dog costume and that the dog in the video was clearly in distress.

Authorities tracked the video and photos back to 21-year-old Christian Stewart Oscar Nichols.

On Monday, Nichols was arrested and admitted to making the video with his dog.

He was arrested and charged with one count of aggravated animal cruelty.

 

I wanna know how the guy in another state noticed.
