Domino effect, do the Ravens now re-sign RGIII? Or does he think he has shown enough to get another chance to start on another team and abandon the Ravens?
I think Griffin is most likely going to end up in purple next year. Another aspect - Case Keenum's contract makes it so that he can be traded for only a $3mil cap hit compared to $18mil savings. I look for him to be dealt quickly for a small return. Flacco could go from one situation where a rookie would have eventually supplanted him to another situation where a rookie will eventually supplant him depending on how the draft falls for Denver.
That's a decent possibility (Case to MIA). I still think Tannehill to Washington is a likely fit, dependent on if they bounce Scherff off of the roster. There were rumors of Ryan to Cincy, but that feels like a lateral move.
DAMN...they've already removed Flacco from the Ravens books and added him to the Broncos books on spotrac.
Odds makers are favoring the Dolphins in landing Kyler Murray too... lots of interesting scenarios possible and unfolding.
I actually think this is a good trade the Broncos. Buys a little time for Fangio to tighten up the defense while finding answers for the future at QB.
ouch that's cold. is Flacco really worthless ? maybe a change of scenery and new teammates and new wide receivers could do Flacco some good ? Could he be any worse than Keenam ?
Now all they need is Antonio Brown for their first and second round picks to give Flacco a nice target.
On Tuesday morning, BetOnline.AG released the following NFL draft props for Murray, allowing people to bet on when Murray is drafted and which team drafts him. Kyler Murray draft position: Over/Under -- Pick 9.5 Which team will draft Kyler Murray? Miami Dolphins 3/2 Jacksonville Jaguars 5/1 New York Giants 5/1 Oakland Raiders 6/1 Arizona Cardinals 7/1 Tampa Bay Buccaneers 12/1 Washington Redskins 12/1 Cincinnati Bengals 14/1 Denver Broncos 14/1 Pittsburgh Steelers 14/1 _____________ _______________________________ From NBC Sports... Kyler Murray, Oklahoma’s Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback, is the most intriguing prospect in this year’s NFL draft. The intrigue may end with Murray in Miami. The Dolphins are the betting favorites to draft Murray in April. (Yes, you can bet on which team will draft Murray.) The current odds have the Dolphins at +150 favorites. After the Dolphins come the Cardinals, Giants and Jaguars, all at +500. The Raiders are at +600 and every other team is at +1200 or higher. The Dolphins pick 13th overall, and most people seem to think Murray will be off the board by then. Miami may need to trade up to get Murray.
I still think Brown to the 49ers for that high second round pick is probably the best possible return the Steelers will get.
This byline is going to be something that changes in the lead up to the draft. If Murray weighs in at 195 or over with a height within 1/4" of 5'10" he probably goes in the first 5 picks.
I have to say, this time last year it was, if Baker Mayfield is under 6'0" he will fall out of the first round, he was 6' 1" Now it's If he is within 1/4" of 5'10", he'll be a top 5 pick This is funny stuff
Yeah, the media cycle runs on this stuff but a lot of it is based on historic trends. Unless you're suggesting I said that...
Murray's height doesn't concern me. Short QBs can compete in the NFL. His body and holding up to the hits he will take concern the hell out of me.
