some of it was funny. most of it was so staged and over the top bullshit that MTV made millions on. how those people acted was not normal. where they lived at is not the entire Jersey Shore, yet, everyone assumed it was all the same thing. it's not. not even close.

 

Yeah, I read somewhere that some of those actors were from conn or Mass.

 

i don't recall. i know some were from long island and staten island. people who lived down the shore hated them there. they hated the film crews, the special privileges they got at bars etc. they couldn't wait for them to leave. they all made a lot of money off the show for doing basically nothing but sleep till 5pm and party and drink all night and bang nasty girls. Mike is a drug addicted and lost tons of money to the IRS. Ronnie has had run ins with the cops left and right. The one girl has not come back for recent reunion shows. The only one with a real job is Pauly D who is a Vegas DJ making millions. I didn't think DJs made that much. He does. Snooki and Jenni broke off on their own show, which was unwatchable.

it wasn't a freak show though. they drew it up perfectly with new phrases, actions and thinking no one ever thought of before and the kids (viewers) ate it up.
