All you can ask for in a football game, is to have a shot at winning the game. He had a horrible game overall, but he never quit, and that is why I love the guy. Flacco would have cashed it in down 20, I am sorry but he would have. Lamar didn't and although he got stripped of the ball, I am still proud to say he is my QB. Fans can call for Joe, Joe, Joe, but he will no longer be a Raven by March, the fans might as well get used to that fact. Lamar is the QB of the Ravens now.

Now for DeCosta to do his work, and get him some help on that O-line (Marshall Yanda's time in Baltimore is also over, I expect him to be gone), some young WR to help him and a few DB's because our safeties will also be on the way out.

38-3 Houston Oiler lead on the Buffalo Bills, Jim Kelly goes down, Reich in. Bills win in OT 41-38. Craziest 2nd half of a game that I had ever seen

There is not a single area on this team that needs stronger reinforcement than our interior O line.

The entire scheme should revolve around Lamar and his line understanding how to adapt to what they see. Basically we need Jeff Saturday. In all seriousness, possession receivers with sound hands are way more important for us than a big legit number 1 phenom. We cant ace every area but we already have something on one else does and that is lamar. Most running backs will floursish with lamar for reasons that i have repeated a fuck tonne of times so its not a huge need, we can pretty much plug and play there.

If we fix the O line and get a legit pass rusher in the off season and maintain a large portion of this team we will be fine. The other big factor is simply the progression of lamar. When he stopped panicking and started not premeditating a few plays and took what the D gave him- he had success. He has a good arm, his touch is actually way better than i thought, it all looks unorthodox but its a mental game for him now.

I purposefully left out coaching talk cos fuck that noise right now. Solid season with a lot to look forward to.

Ravens cornerback Jimmy Smith went over to fans behind the team's bench who were chanting "Flacco."

"You know, I love Flacc, but No. 8 [Jackson] got us here," Smith said. "For the fact that you're a fair-weather fan that quickly, when things go rough, and you turned your back on him, that just got under my skin a little bit. I just went to them and told them, 'Yo, you either ride or die or you get the hell out of here. Period.' That was it."

I would have to agree with Jimmy Smith on this one, but I hope he knows that he is probably released in the off-season as well because of that contract of his plus getting burned quite a few times this season, including today to set up the Chargers only TD.

I agree with Jimmy, but I don't think he played that badly this season. There isn't a corner in the league that can be left on an island as much as he is and never give up passes. Hell, people were saying Marlon was better and the Browns lit Marlon up from start to finish.

I'd love if they can bring his contract down in some way, but I'd rather have him on the team than not

was that one of the 4 playoffs they made super bowl trips and lost each time?

too tired to look it up

I believe it was the 93 season, the third of the 4 trips but i could be wrong. What you may have seen was that if he had completed the comeback, it would have been the Ravens biggest playoff comeback

No, tech is right. The graphic popped up on screen, but it was largest 4th quarter comeback and not halftime comeback. The record was/is 19 points for the Patriots.
