Liked Nwosu a lot in last year's draft. That's a big play from a rookie linebacker.

 

I'm not surprised. Put more time on the clock and that game has a chance to flip.

The Ravens were getting stronger on offense as they went, but way too many turnovers and potential turnovers from a young group with room to grow.

I know losses all feel the same, but I think Baltimore laid down a solid foundation to build off of going into next season. Have to make some smart roster choices and look at making some changes with position coaches and possibly offensive coordinator.

 

Bad luck guys, they fought right to the end.

Doesn't help right now, but still, that was one hell of a run to close out the regular season. And you did deliver a hammer blow in keeping your biggest rivals out the playoffs. To an old school division rival hater like me that would provide some consolation in the months ahead.

 

If I'm Decosta, I ask Harbaugh and Marty what their vision is for the offense. Not something like "hard physical team", but what specific pieces they need. If we're going to run a lot, I want some big bodied freak receivers out there like a Demaryius out of a run school like Ga Tech. Then do everything in your power to get scouting reports on those rookies and free agents. They cannot afford to keep missing on receivers. On the line, we definitely need interior line upgrades. LG was abused today, and Skura is Skura.

If Marty can't lay out exactly what he needs to call plays for, then I'd be worried about keeping him. The Ravens cannot do to Jackson what they did with Joe. They have to actually build around their QB.

 

Football is becoming unwatchable. Instead of giving the chargers the TD when the review showed he clearly had it they fuck the chargers instead. So what did they do immediately after fucking the chargers? They turned around and fucked the Ravens on the very next play. Should have been a Ravens TD. Both teams scored a TD on back to back plays only to watch the refs fuck them both. That was a cluster fuck.

 

Lamarr is better than i thought ... he is second coming of Vick imo ... he will never be great imo, but he is at least pretty good

Kyreal - I can't really say I told you so because even though the Ravens lost, Lamarr was 50 yards from the biggest comeback ever in a postseason.

i wonder if lamarr will hold a grudge against ravens' fans for booing him and chanting - "flacco flacco flacco" .... i was listening some on the radio while doing other stuff at that point

 

Weird to say but I feel better about the loss than I did at the 10 minute mark of the 4th. At least we saw that when the offense goes pass heavy, and throws downfield, Lamar can succeed. Now we just need better blocking from the line, a playmaker, and better play calling.

I hope DeCosta believes in building around your franchise QB

Reading quickly thru some of your posts your beloved team didn’t lose because of Harbaugh or some other things mentioned. They lost because of the limitations of your QB particularly throwing the ball. he’s not a good passer. Clearly LAC game planned to stop his running and force him to beat them by passing. I never thought he would be a good QB in the NFL entering the draft and still don’t after his 8 or 9 starts. Please advise.

A side note - LAC are 8-0 on the road when having to board a plane. Only road loss was to LAR which was a short bus ride (obviously)

 

The last part is most important and crucial IMHO. Ozzie did not believe in building around Joe. If DeCosta does that, then we are not going to go very far with Jackson. We better hit on a WR this year, but I know I'm setting myself up for failure there.

 

You guys need more defense , I’m sure your first five picks will be defensive or TEs.
