    Speaking of Paxton Lynch . . .

He worked out for the Packers today. Anyone want to explain why the Packers would work him out at this time in the season???

Wow, Lynch and Kizer....That's a helluva back-up plan.

    Pro bowling Browns:

    Cleveland Browns
Myles Garrett, DE (1); Denzel Ward, CB (1)

The first overall pick from 2017 (Garrett) and the fourth overall pick from 2018 (Ward) go for the first time, a sign of good days ahead for the formerly forlorn Browns. Several Browns were chosen as alternates, including rookie running back Nick Chubb (second alternate) and quarterback Baker Mayfield (fourth). The Browns have the longest possible odds to make the playoffs this season, but these honors bode well for 2019 and beyond.

Did you know? Ward is the sixth Browns rookie to reach the Pro Bowl, and the first since Joe Thomas in 2007. The others: LB Chip Banks (1983), kick returner Greg Pruitt (1973), WR Paul Warfield (1965) and RB Jim Brown (1957). Warfield and Browns are in the Hall of Fame; Thomas will be. -- Pat McManamon

I'm very happy for them both. I'm particularly happy for Garret, who has been great while constantly being double teamed and held, all year.

I'd like to see someone in our coaching staff start to make an issue of the holding with the referees. I believe that as we head into next year, no longer a laughing stock, our coaches can take issue with the calls / non calls, with a little more authority.

It's that time of year again, those that will not be focusing on post season will start thinking about their 90 man roster.

This is actually a ridiculous stat. Ridiculous as in "wow, that's freaking insane the difference between #1 and #2)

John Dorsey has selected a rookie that ended up in the Pro Bowl every year since 2015.

And it wasn't our future All Pro QB either...It was the guy everyone laughed at for passing on "the other Chubb"... Yes, OUR Chubb is the real deal...

LOL, I'm just kidding.. Bradley Chubb is having a hell of a season himself. If this keeps up, it could end up being one of the greatest draft classes of all time.

While we're briefly on the topic of the 2018 draft . . .

    Boy, was I wrong !!!
    • I went on record stating that Barkley should have been the #1 O/A pick because the top 4 or 5 QB's in the class were so close that any of them would (could) end our 20 year search. While Barkley has, in fact, been impressive - he would not have the long term effect that Mayfield has brought.
    • I went on a full tilt rant over trading up for Calloway. He's not there yet on the field but he has made it almost through the entire season without being suspended.
    • I pounded the table for Conner Williams once we found out Joe Thomas retired. Instead, we drafted Austin Corbit (a guard) who hasn't yet seen a lot of action. In spite of this, this offensive line has developed quite nicely.
Maybe this John Dorsey guy knows what he's doing afterall.

I'll post it here. I was very confused when some fans where saying Baker and the Browns could/would be favorites next season from another thread. But after watching him dissect Baltimore's defense, I fully understand it. The Browns have arrived and the AFC is on notice.

Hopefully Lamar continues to improve his passing and our two teams can battle for the division for years to come. The Browns have a bright future ahead of them

If Lamar improves his passing game, this will be the NFL premier rivalry for the next 15 years. Baker vs Lamar, in the same division..It's going to be fun

Laugh it up...Ben is fading, his decision making cost you the playoffs as much as anything else in 2018

Ben is done. That is a given. Laughing that you are entertaining a supposed possibility that Lamarr is anything more than an NFL oddity/flavor of the year/fraud.
