Somehow I can’t see the Browns beating the Ravens right now. I want them to, but I think the Ravens smell blood and are going to be all over the Browns.
Our beloveds have lost 4 out of last 5 games. After going 16-1-1 in 17 road games, they are now 0-3 in their last 3 road games.
I believe you are correct. The Browns could have a winning season 8-7-1 in they win in Baltimore. However, the Ravens will either win the AFCN or they will be out of the playoffs as either Tennessee or Indy will be 10-6.
All the good goes for nothing because of the loss. The gaffes continue to kill this team. They turn the ball over at terrible times and the 4th and 2 PI was a backbreaker. I do think they win next week but it will be for nothing because the Ravens will most likely win. Bummer.
I’m surprised there hasn’t been more of an uproar on the 4th and 2 PI based on the fact the call was pass interference and the ball was tipped by Tuitt. That should have been reviewed and flag picked up. Tomlin should have done his best Harbaugh pouting impersonation and hounded the head ref for an explanation and demanded a booth review.
an interesting stat by someone that called in into the SNR post game show with Stan and Charlie Batch “In the last 5 games, the Steelers offense in 12 possessions with the lead in the 2nd half have only been able to manufacture 3 points” 3 freaking points, defense gets a lot of blame but the strength of this team, the offense, is not getting it done with these games on the line.
Wow. Thanks AJ. That's really an eye opener. They did have some chances to add on today and didn't. The same thing in other games. It's been a sad year for us Steelers fans.
I don’t care about rooting for Cleveland! I actually would like to see the Browns have a winning season. The Steelers can compete and beat ANY team in the league. The Oakland game was inexcusable but the Steelers should of beat the Chargers and Saints if they refs got it right! They got screwed both times both the zebras for some reason have it for the Steelers. It is not a conspiracy! BTW, I was hoping for a fake punt on 4th and 5 and I am probably in the minority. The Saints would of driven down the field anyways with the soft defense and allowed the Steelers with less time to get the ball back. They did get the ball back and I honestly thought the Steelers would get that winning touchdown (no field goal.). It is hard to blame JuJu but he did fuck up big time but I always thought that since he was on top of the defender that he was down but I guess I was wrong. There were 3 PI’s called on the Steelers and they were all bad! Two on Haden (both completely bogus bs calls and the earlier one on Burnett was BS too.). Burnet has the right to go for the ball which he did and was watching it the whole time; in addition it was thrown into triple coverage and the receiver really had no chance. The refs fucked the Steelers once again. The major blunder all on the Steelers was allowing Brees to complete an EASY pas on 3rd and 20 on the Saints final drive. Brady couldn’t do it but poor defense by the Steelers allowed this crap to happen. IF and this is a big IF the Steelers can survive Cincy, I honestly think the Browns have a legitimate chance to spoil the Ravens! They hate the Ravens probably more so than the Steelers. So it continues but I still believe this team still REALlY has a chance for the postseason and Baker Mayfield could be our hero this season. The guy is a winner and love his attitude until next year.......... Merry Christmas to everyone Black, Purple, and Brown and oddly enough I see myself watch the Browns/Ravens game owner Cincy/Pitt! Love you guys and the forum and special props to Techheart for keeping it going with enthusiasm, even though I do not believe in the fixed games! Take care, JMac
How do you do that split screen thing? All I have on the Ticket is 4 games going on at the same time and to me it is almost unwatchable! Tell me quickly and I will buy it for myself and stick it under the tree from me to my son...,
I would just watch the ticket screen. There will be four games on, so a little more than just a split .
Good: not a damn thing Bad: not having control of our own destiny Ugly: 1. idiot fans who blame JuJu for the loss 2. Fans crying about the refs. Sadly many Steeelers fans sound more and more like damn seahawk fans every year.
1. JuJu is far down the list of "reasons" why the Steelers lost to the Saints. 2. Champions overcome. If the Steelers took care of business in Denver and Oakland, then "bad" / "questionable" calls by referees in the Chargers and Saints games wouldn't matter as far as the AFCN is concerned. In addition, the Steelers still should have won the Chargers games regardless of referees. And the Steelers had their chances to win the Saints game regardless of referees.
The worst penalty call/no call I’ve ever experienced is the false start no call against the Chargers. That kind of bull crap should be reviewable.
My suffering the NFL has wrought upon me is still acute. Trying to turn page .... ahhh--uhhhh-ahhh .....
