Alright. We got the W that's all that matters. On to week 17.

We got moved to a 4:25 EST kick, same time the Rams and Eagles kick off in their respective games. I'm hoping the Bears come out with intensity as if it's the biggest game of the season, though it isn't. We have a chance to eliminate a division rival (remember the lesson of 2010). And it would be a defining road win for this team.

The way I see it the Rams are going to beat the 49ers. That means if we lose we'll probably get the Vikings again in the Wildcard game and it wouldn't make me feel good facing their defense a third time, even though Cousins doesn't concern me in the slightest. If we win we'll most likely eliminate the Vikings since the Eagles will no doubt take care of business against the defeated Skins. Not that I'd feel great about facing Foles either given his hot streak. But the more I think about it, the more I'd rather face the immobile Foles over the other playoff bound QBs.

Other than the obvious goal of winning, here's what I'd like to see us do in week 17.
    - Get EJax some more time to recover.
    - Build some more momentum for Trubisky and the Jordan Howard running game.
    - Get Kevin White or Javon Wims meaningful reps in the event Miller and Bellamy are suspended. Maybe White or Wims deserve a look in the playoffs.
    - Run some plays for Adam Shaheen.
    - Show that our offense has basic situational awareness. Cut out stupid mental mistakes.

Feels good to have a lot on the line at this stage of the season.

    - Secure the damn football, Teams will now see this as a weakness, and let's hope they miss a tackle or two trying to go for the ball instead of the tackle.
