It’s cool...I promise to only make positive posts here for now on because I realize it’s all you can handle here. Browns are gonna win at least 5 Super Bowls in the next 20 years. Baker Mayfield already has a spot in Canton and his plaque is in production as we speak. Cleveland will soon be synonymous with Championship. Better?
I know you're smart enough to understand context. I didn't say that anyone was winning a Superbowl, either. Not sure where that came from. My response was in the context of the Browns doing "something" relative to the rest of the league. It is very true that they have come a long way in a short period of time. but wouldn't you say that an accomplishment in respect to the rest of the league is doing something like making the playoffs? It's not diminishing the accomplishment as is, it's putting it in context. And that was the discussion being at the moment - the Browns ruling the division / doing "something" first.
I'm literally echoing several other posters here, including a Browns fan and the original poster. I don't need your b******* either. Don't call me "friend" and proceed to be a douche. Let's let this one go, huh?
I didn't say it wasn't an accomplishment. In fact, I said the exact opposite. Relative to a team without a win, that is a huge accomplishment. Relative to the rest of the league? Not an accomplishment. An accomplishment relative to the league is doing something like going to the playoffs. you don't win a trophy for winning eight games. That's not an accomplishment relative to the league as a whole. Again, for those who are struggling with it - I am not diminishing the Browns.
Welp...the Ravens have announced that Harbaugh will be back for 2019, so I think its safe to say they'll moments of brilliance in 2019, but miss the playoffs with a record between 6-10 and 8-8.
What do ya mean? I loved the psycho meltdown rant where you used the term "bleeding cunts" a half dozen times to describe Browns fans. Very classy btw. Speaks volumes....Why did you delete? It was so colorful....And now you're gonna backpedal like it's your job, to the surprise of absolutely no-one. lol! Sounds like a teachers pet to me...
If being classy means I have to hide from criticism and honesty...I’m very happy to stay being the low class citizen that I am.
Serious question: Does the exuberance of a fan base or an individual poster on this site affect your life in any way?
No, it doesn’t. Does it need to affect my life in order for me to make a post about it? Am I only allowed to post about stuff that does directly affect my life? Do you only post about things that affect your life?
Fantastic. Good for you. Go be all you can be on the Bears message board or something. ... Just move along , and quit hijacking Lym's thread. This was a great conversation about AFCN, involving lots of longtime AFCN posters, which is why we were all enjoying it so much. At least we were until you came in and got your panties in a bunch over a silly comment that everyone else understood was an exaggerated remark, from a long suffering Cleveland fan, to a longtime Steeler fan....And then you spent the next two pages making everything worse....Don't try to get the last word in. We've all heard enough. Just move on.
How about I continue to pop in whenever I feel like it and continue to post whenever I feel it and you can kiss my ass if you don’t like it? Yeah...I like my idea better too.
There's only three things that affect my life. My faith, my health and my family. None of which are affected by posters or what they post on an internet forum. That's why I get so perplexed when someone feels the need to minimize other people's opinion as if it really affects them.
I’m confused how questioning someone’s opinion equals minimizing it? Look back at my initial response to topdawg today...how am I minimizing his opinion? I never said he wasn’t entitled to his opinion or allowed to be optimistic. I simply said that maybe the Browns should actually accomplish something before he labels them a dynasty. I don’t need to be affected by something in order to respond to it nor is responding evidence of being affected.
