The Mitch that we saw yesterday is the Mitch that makes this team a Super Bowl contender. That was good Mitch. But can good Mitch make an appearance under the lights on prime time?

Roquan Smith wasn’t great but he did have 10 tackles and a pass defended. He’s over 100 tackles on the season. He’s presumably is just gonna get better....this was a really good pick by Pace.

Nagy almost lost the game a few times. No reason for the 3rd and short call to Mizzell. No reason for the fake punt. No reason for the wildcat or whatever that was on the play where they fumbled. None of that was necessary and it’s why people cringe when they see him call cute stuff. It just wasn’t needed...you were beating them straight up.

The magnet that pulls Cohen to the sideline has gone beyond simply annoying and is now just pissing me off. Cover the ball and fight forward for extra yards.

I want more Shaheen. And less Mizzell. Like so little Mizzell everyone forgets he is on the roster.

The interior of the O-line got beat more often than not. Massie wasn’t much better. Mitch did a good job with the rush in his face.

Next week won’t be easy. We never really play well out in Frisco. Not sure why but our history out there isn’t great.

Rams lost so a first round bye isn’t a pipe dream. Rams go to Arizona and then have the 49ers at home. Bears are away against the 49ers and the Vikings. Bears definitely have the tougher games there but it’s not impossible.

Early word is EJax was in a boot after the game but the feeling is it’s not bad...possibly just a minor sprain. But you know how these things go. Can’t afford to lose him. If he needs to sit two games to be ready for the playoffs that’s acceptable but we really need him out there, especially after losing Callahan.

McManis did a nice job filling in for Bryce. Wildcats!

He did somehow manage to dive over the pylon when the magnet was pulling him pretty hard.

Shaheen has shown he's capable of big catches. He doesn't seem to be getting the reps though.


My takeaway from the game is how much this team has grown. The Bears of the last 10 years would have folded up and lost after the botched fake punt or the Cohen fumble. Those were turning point plays that losing teams do not rebound from. But the 2018 Bears just don't give a fuck and they bounce back no matter what. I love it.
