I don't know...the game being played in LA changes things. And I would assume the Rams would make some really good adjustments on offense. Trubisky would need to be about 50x better than he was last Sunday night in order for the Bears to win again. Not sure who'd I'd rather draw in the division round between the Rams and Saints...provided the Bears win their first game at home. I think on paper the Bears actually match up well against the Saints on both sides of the ball.
Some people are speculating that Gruden is solidifying his position, or Davis burned the bridge when he wouldn't work out a deal with Cooper and Mack. It could be as simple as Reggie being middle of the pack when it comes to building a roster and hiring a staff.
They are just now getting their entire defense on the field they have been withotu Berry until the last game and I think they were missing Houston for several games this year as well. The chiefs defense doesnt have to be great they just need to make a couple of stops a game and maybe get a turnover.
Texans escape from New York with a win... Two of the league’s most promising young quarterbacks dueled today when the Texans visited the Jets, and it was Deshaun Watson‘s team who came out on top. Both Watson and Sam Darnold were excellent in a back-and-forth game, but Watson had the advantage of having DeAndre Hopkins to throw to. Hopkins caught 10 passes for 170 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-winner late in the fourth quarter, and the Texans won 29-22. Watson finished 22-for-28 for 294 yards, with two touchdowns and no interceptions. The big concern for the Texans is that Watson was sacked six times, and has now been sacked more than any quarterback in the NFL this season. The Texans need to keep Watson healthy, and that’s not the way to do it. Darnold shook off a slow start and was outstanding for most of the game, engineering long drives, buying time with his feet and finding receivers in the end zone. They came up short in the end, but Darnold completed 23 of 37 passes for 237 yards, with two touchdowns and no interceptions. The Texans are not officially in the playoffs, but at 10-4 there’s almost no scenario in which they don’t go. The Jets are going nowhere this season, and they fell to 4-10 with the loss. (PFT)
Browns eliminated with a loss... id like to see them win, to be honest. Browns and Broncos... on tap.
Mind blowing. Brady played against the Eagles in the SB twice, but 13 years apart. Like him or hate him, you have to give the man his props.
After an impressive start on D, Mayfield leads the Browns offense down the field for a TD to Perriman. Nice throw and catch!
