This probably could belong in our stickied Packer's suck thread, but I hate the Packers, like all of you. Shittiest team in the league that has had the unbelievable luck to get not one, but TWO HOF Generational QBs in a row giving them only 2 superbowls across 2 decades. This year especially, they are still as overrated as they come. I remember mid-season watching NFL network, and some doucher (can't remember which) said they were going to win their next 4 games. Those games were: 49ers (they squeaked out a 3 point win to one of the worst teams in the league) Rams (close loss to a good team) Patriots (plastered by a team they are far outclassed by) Dolphins (Packers won this convincingly) I don't know how anyone would predict a 4 game winning streak there. And even still, all the talk has been how they could still make the playoffs sneak in and win a super bowl like the one and only time they did with Rodgers before. They have to win out and they need everything to bounce their way. We NEED to end this. I know I said it doesn't matter so much for the playoffs, and it doesn't. It's not *technically* a must win game. But when we are clearly the superior team, and we let them off the hook week 1, we need redemption. It's the oldest rivalry. They've dominated us at soldier field since the 2010 debacle. This is THEIR super bowl. And worse, Rodgers is STILL talking shit: https://sports.yahoo.com/bears-hope-cripple-rival-packers-playoff-chances-015002153--nfl.html The only way to shut him up, is to take care of business. Mongo, I hope you have time for a things to watch. Reading up, it seems like the team as a whole is completely fired up. This should be a curb-stomping of epic proportions. I will be satisfied with a win, but I NEED a statement win. Shut these assholes all up. I am just as nervous as ever for this game, but we are favored by 6 points for a REASON. Nagy said this in that article: Bear the FUCK down gentlemen. 4 fucking days left? I can't wait.
It IS a must win game, until this team crawls out from under their cleat the Bears are just another team. It will work wonders for this teams psyche, and development of a winning attitude. The Rams game was no doubt a huge lift, but this one would exceed even that one.
If there was such a thing as karma the only possible score for this game would be a 62-0 Bears win. But I'll be satisfied with a 3-2 win if it means we win and they lose.
So this will be the first regular season home Bears game I've been to. My dad's as well. He just turned 60 a week ago and so I got tickets to the game for his birthday. We are also going to the Blackhawks game tomorrow night. I can't tell you how excited I am for this game. I've been a Bears fan since I was old enough to walk. I was only 5 years old when they last won the SuperBowl and I remember the game and party still. It's a moment I'll never forget. I've got a feeling that this Sunday I'll have another memory that I'll never forget as well as both my dad and I celebrate knocking Packers off there pedestal and secure the division. I think the last time I was this excited was the 2006 season. However, I think this team is even better than that one. It's more balanced and we have better skill position players. Like Vvarder said, "Bear the FUCK down, gentlemen!"
Boonie, brother, you need to do your part and be LOUD AS HELL when the peckers are on offense. I’m jealous as hell youre going, have fun dude. Someone needs to give tuna some tickets to secure the win. Also I just saw this, next level shit, Hicks is pissed off.
This should get your blood boiling as a Bears fan too: https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/...gful-bears-game-in-years-plus-five-best-bets/
