How does the new catch rule even cover this? He fell right when he snagged it and it popped out. It's not even a staying in one place as he goes down.

What a lucky play. But what ticks me is 10-minute OT. If they are stopped the Eagles have less than 2 minutes to drive the field for a score. It is easy to milk the clock on a decent drive if you go first. And the team that goes second has almost no chance at getting the ball twice.

 

If the Vikings win tomorrow I'll consider the NFC Playoff field set. I really do think Seattle is going to be in no matter what. But the Vikings can still have teams catch them if they lose this despite nobody wanting to catch them.

 

Do you know what is crazy? If Vikings lose their next two games and the Packers win next week vs the Bears, we'll be talking about how the Packers are the favorite to be the sixth seed. The Vikings would still have the tiebreaker with equal records but they would still have to play the Bears.

The craziest plausible playoff scenarios I found is that if the Lions go on a tear then they or the Falcons could make the playoffs.

 

Eagles players are all going for the fines. The Cowboys fumbled the ball and the refs ruled there was no clear recovery of who recovered the ball on the resulting pile up. The only problem was that the pile up was comprised of solely Eagles players. Called the refs into question and said the officials in New York need to get off the bottle.

Another Facebook colleague is on the anti-Wentz wagon. he stated how many losses does Wentz get before people realize he's an average QB? I countered with "what are his signature wins in his career?" Foles has 3 alone last year. What does Wentz have? The guy is praised as a hero in Philly when he clearly isn't . He's a solid QB but the losses are adding up. Not ALL his fault but man the team and Wentz is a mess right now.

 

I don't see where the countering is when you are both hating.

 

Saints back to the #1 seed and I think they are staying there.
