there was a guy named pronto on cbs. he was a boston college grad and kept getting banned on purpose to irk people. he was a real asshole. he had 20 different profiles too.

Cat...I remember him and Ignored him...that was a BIG problem with CBS ...you could have Multiply profiles.

 

At that time I was living outside the city, hadn't really been there since the 80s, so craig was really current. He knew every pocket and could tell you the same about winnipeg or any prarie city and vancouver too.
I would use his advice when I moved into the city 3 years ago.

Lulz was a wings fan, 1969 spoke the truth and saw things for the way they were, and was proved to be correct over time. Some fans can't handle reality of a faltering team. such is life.

I'm not sure how far back cbs goes, I started posting there about 2008.

Lulz was a bit of a strange hockey fan, never did get his angle. He hated the flyers and blamed them for his 20 year absence as a hockey fan. He resurfaced on cbs under the name Hassan Jones after he left here. He was occasionally there right until they pulled the game glogs.

Bang On Skinny.......CBS started in 1999 and I joined in 2004....Rotisserie Baseball.

CBS stopped the Threads in 2012 due to some very scary situation's.....Rumour was there was a young girl raped and abused in Florida from a Poster ??? who had a HUGE on-going feud with another poster and attacked his daughter who was a cheer leader at a Florida High School.....I have no idea if this was True ....BUT shortly (Days) later the Threads were removed......ALL Chats and History.

 

Wow, that's stunning, never heard that angle before. I had always thought it was a combination of an IT issue and cbs getting fed up with having to deal with all the crazies.

i recall a hockey woman who was from arizona but a pens fan. she had a loyal following on cbs. her and i didn;t see eye to eye and one day she up and left and never came back. niner, tarkus and those guys know who im talking about.

I agree Cat........I really liked The Bar & Grill @ CBS........great place to chat and a LOT of them have continued over here.......I always remember Mops (RIP) she was a GREAT Lady and a HUGE Atlanta sports fan....and then Handicapper (Huge Troll) tried in vain to have the B&G shut down....he and RavenManic failed with the "Crew" and both were banned........BUT kept coming back with new screen names.
