Connor McDavid plans to be in the lineup when the Edmonton Oilers play the St. Louis Blues at Enterprise Center in the first game of a "Wednesday Night Hockey" doubleheader (8 p.m. ET; NBCSN, SN, TVAS). McDavid sat out Edmonton's 4-1 loss at the Dallas Stars on Monday because of an illness.

McDavid was at center between Alex Chiasson and Leon Draisaitl at practice Tuesday and said he plans to play against the Blues. The Oilers don't generate a ton of goals even with McDavid in the lineup; they're 27th in the NHL at 2.63 goals per game. McDavid leads Edmonton with 36 points (14 goals, 21 assists) in 26 games, and he's a threat to score or set up a goal every time he's on the ice. The two-time defending NHL scoring champion is the most dynamic player in the League today, and to say the Oilers aren't the same without him is an understatement.(in part; NHL.com)

K........thanks Skinny......I remember "Hockey Bob" (CBS) and there were some heated Post's.

But you are right.......there were some TERRIBLE Trolls on CBS.....dalydaly.....Handicapper.

 

If bob was a real bad guy, nobody would've came over.
It's been over 5 years now since everyone left cbs. I really don't remember much.
I remember that 2010 olympic thread, it was real lively. I remember that poster Craig who passed away from a heart attack, I was the last poster who messaged him and it happened the next day.

Besides a few bruins and pens fans, there were those canadians. There was Merc, sensarmy, that redwing1969 from windsor, IMAleaf fan from montreal.
A few like lulz,cutter,diniro, were here but then disappeared.

 

they were others on cbs - tarkus had his own thread for hockey and on it were flyflyersflyers, rc philly who passed away, niner and some other guys. they are on \another site and those guys are all assholes. they talk little about hockey and more about how to piss people off.

 

These names are so far in the past, what's thr point of that anyway, I doubt it's that active.

The problem with having everyone from the same fanbase is when the team isn't doing well. A board full of hockey fans will survive a lot longer than a board that just cheers for one team.

 

They seem like a diverse group back then skinny, just assholes.

There were a lot of good Flyer fans on CBS.

the 2010 SC Final made for some good conversation there.....I had a whole mob of Flyer fans that wanted to kill me.

He had a tampa bay lightning avtar, if I'm not mistaken.

Redwings1969 was here and started butting heads with forthelulz. Lulz had a policy of nothing negative about the wings and 1969 took off.

there was a guy named pronto on cbs. he was a boston college grad and kept getting banned on purpose to irk people. he was a real asshole. he had 20 different profiles too.
