asking because i don't know--how much say or control does bettman get in the naming rights to the new team ? isn't that something the new owners get the privilege too ?i mean for $650 million- they should name their own team, right ??

I'm sure the NHL get to set the rules about team names. What I heard is Bettman wanted to avoid confusion with the division.

"Bettman" is just a face of the entire NHL executive dept. It shouldn't be read as if he made a unilateral decision.

Dan and skinny, that's not what Tim is saying. He didn't log in. He's online without logging in and his IP address popped up. so again as i asked "what's the point of his IP address showing up if he didn't want to log in ?

IP address is where your signal is coming from. Normally it is always the same or very similar for you from the same device and it's like your street address for your internet. Whenever you use it websites can see where you are from. Tim can see that and he saw Bob was lurking. He did not log in but he came to check out the site and possibly the page in particular.
