Wow, what a crappy time to be a football fan in NY/NJ. The Giants, Jets and Bills have a combined 11 wins - and one of those was Bills vs Jets.
It reminds me of a joke from 1995... How many blondes does it take to screw the New York Jets? One... Boomer.
Dude he's on his 3rd round rookie contract, he was owed about $200k this year and about $600k next year. If they wanted him, they would have claimed him so they didn't have to compete for his services....something tells me there isn't any competition and won't be until the investigation is over.
I thought someone would grab him was wrong about that but with the talent he has someone will take the risk eventually.
That's what im thinking. Depends on how long the NFL keeps him on the shit list, then someone might take a shot, I don't know.
It's the time of year when rebuilding teams start putting banged up guys on the shelf and scooping up practice squad players from other teams, just to get an extended audition and a headstart in practice with an extra prospect or two that they think might fit their plans for the following season. I wouldn't have been all that surprised if some team out there snagged him on waivers even if they fully intended to park him on the inactive or suspended list until say, week five of 2019.
The earliest I see Hunt coming off the list, or open to present his case for reinstatement is 1 year from this past week, with it being resolved in time for... week 1 of 2020. Any sooner and lol NFL, if just for the principal of the mess they've created.
Eagles stopped on 4th and goal because they thought it was a great idea to have no one blocking the edge when multiple rushers were lined up at the line off the right tackle. Brilliant.
Sproles rumbles in for a TD. Very impressive. Jason Kelce nice blocking from C to sideline on Mason Foster.
