I'm still not caught up, but after that TD, I'm calling it. This game is over. And amazingly, it all fucking turned on fucking Nagy calling that timeout. That was the moment of complete momentum shift and the game hasn't been the same. You let them up from the mat on a game you were winning outside of some stupid ints, and now they are completely pumped.
Someone maybe should have covered Beckham. You know....their #1 receiver. Usually you try to cover those guys.
One thing I'm wondering. Why didn't they at least suit Trubisky up? If you decided not to start him even though he's healthy, fine. But to deactivate him and make it so you can't even bring him in? Why cock block yourself?
We just lost to one of the worst teams in the NFC. And next week we are playing the best team in the NFL. Suddenly our playoff chances are a little more precarious.
Can’t wait to hear Nagy explain/rationalize this one away. I’m going to put a brick through the TV. I just know it.
That timeout gave them a breath of life. And the Giants are too damn talented to hold down for long. This is a tough loss, especially considering our next 2 games are likely losses as well.
Yeah, I'm also out. Jordan Howard has to be immaculate to win this game. Like turn into the volume scorer he was under Frodo and Fox. That ain't happening.
