i didn't have a horse in the game last night, but it was fun to watch a solid TNF game. i know the NFL schedulers roll the dice with picking TNF, SNF and MNF games in advance and many are duds and suck. well they made up for it last night with a great game.

 

That was the most fun I've had watching the Saints lose in awhile. Damn good game.

 

The Cowboys D threw something at the Saints. Even with all that offensive talent, they couldn't run, couldn't pass, couldn't do squat. I'm still scratching my head.

Cat I'm not a Fan of Thursday Night Football...(except Turkey Thursday)......BUT that was a good game.

And I can't stand the announcers on Monday Night...Witten is a Twitten....and Booger McFarland.....that guy is a Major Pin-Head.

I can visualize the front page of the Dallas Morning News. If Carrot Top had pulled that stunt of turning down the field goal. Then losing by the same (3) points. All the know it all would be owners would be screaming "Fire the bum"!
In the section my season tickets where located. I would bet 50% of the fans around me were Owners, GM's, or coaches. And over the years we became family!
But this fan (CowboyBlue) never wavered. Now I had my favorites, and did bet the spread sometimes. But if they pulled on the Cowboy Jersey. They were on MY team!

To get an invite to NOLA in January. They can't play as sloppy as they did last night! It isn't time to put the glad rags on. So the Cowboys are tied with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Big deal! And they have to play that juggernaut just before Christmas.

There's an old saying I learned down on the farm. "Don't count your chickens before the hatch". And the eggs are still in the incubator!

When the Cowboys become as well coached as the Saints. Then I'll put on my "Glad rags"!

 

I'm not making any predictions here. I was only looking at a possible rematch, at the Dome.

As weak as the NFC-East is, there may not be any more than one team in that division to make the playoffs. Whichever team it is, Dallas being one of them, would play as the division winner at home in the 1st round, nowhere else. I'm not saying it will be Dallas. At this time I don't know who it'll be.

Maybe Dallas can clinch the 3rd seed, IF they can surpass the North's contenders.
It's possible, but I doubt it.

Unless the Saints keep losing, they're in position for the 1st round bye and at least a first game at home.

Therefore, for the Cowboys to come to New Orleans, they would have to play well enough to win a playoff game first.
