    THE GOOD:
The Steelers still lead the AFCN
J2S2 caught 13 passes for 189 yards and 1 TD
    AB
    Switzer
    Conner (receiver)
    The Outlaw
The Steelers O-line only gave up 2 QB sacks and helped Big Ben to complete 41 of 56 passes for 462 yards
    Bengals lost

    THE BAD:
    Another AFC loss
    Another loss in Denver
    Another come from ahead loss
The Steelers gained many yards and few points
The Steelers lost the turn-over battle
Lindsay rushed 14 times for 110 yards and 1 TD
Case Keenum played exactly as required to win
The Ravens (and Browns) gain a game on the Steelers

    THE UGLY:
    Ben's 2nd INT
    The Steelers record in Denver (5 - 13 - 1)

How does Grimble not make your ugly?

Not carrying ball in far hand (per week stuff)......no effort to juke or avoid the defender instead going right back into him.....no lowering head.

A 255lb TE takes on a defensive back and loses big time. Ends up doing the ONLY bad thing he could do on the play. Plays like this are why you lose close road games and why so many have come back to haunt this team at the end of the year. The types of big mistakes that certain other teams in the league just don't make......they don't beat themselves. And why no conference championships have been held at Pitt since the 2010 season.

I don’t blame you mlmeng for leaving that play out. The fact is there were too many boneheaded plays by these Steelers today it would be impossible to recall all of them! Such a disappointment!

Wow, this was one of those games that stick with you a while because, clearly, they should've won by 10 or more. 527 total yards and only 17 points. 3 trips to the redzone that resulted in turnovers(Connor's may have been at the 21).

    The Good:
The way the offense moved the ball.
    JuJu and AB
    Boswell

    The Bad:
Poor use of timeouts in the 2nd half
James Washington's drop of what was almost a sure TD. I think 2 plays after Ben threw a pick.
    Connor and Grimble both fumbling.
    Ben's INTs

    The Ugly:
About the same as the bad I suppose.

The Steelers better regroup because the schedule is not easy. 11 wins will be a real feat now. This game better be a reality check for them.

    On to the Chargers.

Two ugly games in a row, lucky that Bortles was the opposing QB for one of those games because they would be 6-4-1 at this point.

    JuJu was fantastic.
Perfect execution on the fake FG for a TD.
Okorafor stepped up with Feiler and Gilbert out against some of the best pass rushers in the game and played very well ...good job rookie.

Lost a game that shouldn't have been close. Dominated time of possession and racked up over 500 yards. Lots of blame to go around!
Grimble has to go on the list of bad. Terrible to fumble the ball in that situation.
James Washington has got to make that reception. This is the NFL. Gotta make NFL plays to stay on the field.
James Conner and his ball security. There were plenty of bone head plays that contributed to the loss. That play swung the game! Second game this season Conner has fumbled away. Cleveland week one and now this week against Denver. He was bad last week. I hope he refocuses and gets it right going forward.
Ben and the stupid INTs. The guy makes phenomenal plays then turns around makes the stupidest plays possible. This team can not make a run at a Super Bowl if stupid Ben keeps making appearances. He expected a defensive holding call on the first INT. Last week he did the same thing with Switzer and got a very obvious flag. Didn't work. Can't rely on the refs! Don't force a pass expecting a flag. The INT that ended the game was flat stupid!!!
Joe Hayden got torched by Sanders yesterday.

The Steelers have been pretty healthy but injuries are becoming a factor. Tuitt, Gilbert, Feiler, and now TJ Watt.

The next 4 weeks are brutal because they get the chargers then go to the raiders in a game that has trap all over it because it the week before the patriots and then they get the saints. The bottom line is they could not afford to lose the game to Denver and they went out and blew it. They very well could go 4-0 over the next 4 but I don't think it would shock anyone if they went 0-4 either.

Denver defense ranked 27th against the run but hey let’s passi it 60 times and run only 16 times (and 2 of those rushes were pass plays that Ben ran on)

Which is what is ridiculous about this team and the NFL in general ... GMAFB it's frustrating. Nobody blows games quite like our Steelers though, NOBODY

And it's not the first time they have done that in the Tomlin era. I don't know if they outsmart thierselves or they just don't care (you know the wr are going to do what we want to do because we can attitude).

Sorry but I had to cut my list short due to a family matter.

Addition to Good: Boswell's TD pass to Al Villanueva

FUGLY: The Grimble fumble for a touchback instead of a TD.

  12. Chargers will be banged up some w the loss of Gordon....Rivers will throw it 40+ times so the pass defense better be ready....be ready for Derwin making plays all over the field...if Pitt can’t beat Oak they weren’t contenders anyway....NE is vulnerable right now...looked shaky vs NYJ for most of that game w McCown at QB....Saints will b a battle

    My thoughts exactly.

Yes the chargers are banged up but they are still going to be a fight Rivers is having a pretty good season and their defense is 4th and has been without Bosa for much of the year him coming back just makes the defense even better.

No Gordon, our oline shuts down a lot of really good pass rushers. Ben going off this week just makes us that much better. We live and die by Ben now. He has a big say in what our offense is doing. He has free reign to throw some dumb ass pass with the game on the line.

I’m listening to blinded by the light by manfred mann. One of my all time favorite songs We will be blinded by the light of a Steelers Championship this season. Some silicone sister from the manager mister said that they had what it takes.

I suppose Ben was blinded by the light coming off the orange jerseys of the Broncos this past week.

Anyone else more than a little concerned with Joe Haden getting burnt more than once down the field? Sanders just ran past him at least twice on a simple fly route. Wasn’t a double move, or some other well run route, Sanders just ran past him and made it look easy. Not panicking, but it rose some red flags for me...

  18. My guess was he was sitting on a hitch or comeback route and didn’t trust Keenum throwing deep?

  19. steelersking M.V.P. Steelers

If it was only one play I’d agree, but it was multiple times, luckily Keenum overthrew his receiver

Well, the @ Denver loss just became uglier with the Cleveland Lymans winning there last night.
