4 weeks and 55 minutes, and the defense showed up!

Judon is going to the doghouse though. I wouldn't pay Judon at all in the offseason.

And i wouldnt repay him either, he isnt close to being consistent enough.

We really need some truly elite passrush or D line talent,

luckily for us, D line is fucking mega stacked in this upcoming draft

Montgomery looks better than Alex Collins has looked all year. Buck basically lost his job completely.

 

I can't imagine Harbaugh appreciates the tunnel stunt especially when the game is still going on and the defense is still on the field.

 

All I know is, when the play calling got somewhat smart, Baltimore flat out dominated a bad defense, as they should.

Yeah the kid had two INTs, but I don't know how you bench him at this point. If Flacco starts next week and the running game goes back to hell and/or we lose, fans and even the talking heads will question Baltimore heavily all week. Harbaugh is in a shitty situation

 

Gus Edwards is the man. Baltimore, meet your new #1 RB. Alex Collins is a good off back, but it looks like Montgomery took that role and ran with it today (pun intended). Collins was a good 1 year story, and maybe he can learn to be a 1-cut back, but with Edwards, Montgomery, and Dixon if he comes back AND stays healthy AND doesn't get suspended again, then I don't see a place for Collins or Allen. Maybe next year if the ravens don't re-sign Montgomery.

In the 1st half they tried to make LJ more Joe Flacco and it showed. In the 2nd half they let LJ be LJ and got back to what works. Also, Bozeman is a road grader at LT. He should be starting over Lewis.

 

Huge fan of Bozeman, about time he saw some playing time. LJ is the QB of the Ravens, people might as well wrap their heads around that thought. Joe Flacco's time as the starting QB is over, or it will definitely be over after this season. Good win over a crappy Raiders team. They better play better next week though.

Did you watch the actual game? Nobody that actually watched the game would crow about anything the defense did outside of a stretch in the final 5 minutes. Hoping for your CBs to cover all day and the opposing team constantly drops the ball is not a recipe for success.

And again, this was "the #1 defense" going up against absolutely 0 offensive threats this week on the worst team in the league traveling across the country in an early game after a holiday. Not a performance to be proud of...outside of 1 series.

 

He isn't an NFL QB? All I have seen him do is win. Steve Young played like LJ early on in his career at Tampa. Randall Cunningham also played LJ's style of play. People are FAR too quick to judge a player now. He is better than Joe already at this point. He doesn't give up at the end of games like I have watched Joe do TIME AND TIME AGAIN the last several seasons.

 

Aka, you didn't watch the game, you just watched the boxscore/stat updates and now you think you know better than people who actually watched every minute of the game

 

I watched some...didn’t like watching bad QB play so moved on...bottom line was 250 yds for Oak...doesn’t matter if u watch or not that’s pitiful

It's good because you don't often get to see all the worst football takes posted together at once and by the same person. It's very efficient this way.

 

Hey i am quite possibly the biggest ravens D apologist out there AFTER a win, because i love our Defence so god damn much on pure legacy alone but right now we are our CB's, and parts of our secondary ...and that is about it.

Occasionally we get a splash play from our front 7 but they are getting no push, everyone is handling our pass rush and we are predictable. Smith and Humph are fucking amazing tbh, they dont get anywhere near enough credit, especially the latter.

LJ is who is who he is, i dont expect a pocket passer with fantastic mechanics, what i also dont expect is people trying to make him that. His success in the passing games stems from the second or so he gains as an advantage by being a threat CONSISTENTLY on the ground. The former CAN NOT exist without the latter being threatened somewhat constantly. I wrote a rather long paragraph on this in another thread and i cant be fucked to type it out, but we need Lamar rushing, just not excessively. We pretty much drove without issue for the most part in the 2nd half and i think that gets easier once we draft around him and have more time to craft a better playbook

We played well enough to beat a shit team even though our coaches tried to spot them a half.

I do NOT want to see flacco out there, not because i think we get more wins with jackson ( i still think Joe could possibly do a better job overall this year) but because he is our future for AT LEAST 2 years as long as he is not injured- let him get his experience during a somewhat shitty season

Well unfortunately for Balt fans efficiency is something u won’t see much w Jackson...just telling it like it is...he’s not a very good QB

 

If I were a Ravens fan I would be ecstatic that you hate Jackson.

It virtually guarantees he will have a hall of fame career because you are the worst talent evaluator I have ever seen online.
