Happy Thanksgiving to you baby and all you Bears fans. I'm down in Georgia with my dog so on much on the mealtime fare for me it with be a turkey TV dinner and or meatloaf. I have two iptv services to call on for the game Players Klub and Vader streams. I watched Sunday nights game without issue and I expect the same here today. I'm on vacation right now and trying to get as much as I can done around here because January 1st I'll be without a job for thr first time in my life and I'm taking a buyout from the Tribune and taking my pension. I'll roll much of it into medical coverage until I turn 65 still on the Teamsters plan and not Cobra and about 8 weeks leftover to spend some additional time down here in January and away from the cold. I'm thankful I had one job my entire life and I thankful the Teamsters looked out for me. Life is good. Living the dream and Go fucking Bears!
Wow ... that's HUGE news tuna!! So you are officially retiring? If so I wish you nothing but happiness, and productivity through your retirement. Some people find it hard to adjust to a more relaxed day schedule. I envy you the warmth of Georgia a lot. I love that state. We're always treated so well when we're biking there. Don't forget to load up the beer and whiskey and your meal will taste like manna from heaven!

Yeah baby I'll probably find something else to do and stick around Chicago for a while as my three daughters and 4 grandsons are there. I'll need to work if I want to continue to pay the bills and those fucking taxes in Illinois, because the pension won't cover a completely mismanaged state that kicked the can down the road for far too long. On the bright side this place down here will be paid off in February and the taxws are only $900 a year. So while the retirement wasn't on my terms it was a more than offer and the timing wasn't bad. So one day when I'm down here I'll have to catch up with crazy as he's I believe in the Atlanta area about 90 miles from me.
That's such a generous way of looking at it tuna, good on you! You should take a look at what we pay for taxes here ... it would make you fall over. And not just from whiskey consumption either LOL

Not so much a retirement as it is change of direction V2. As my daughter told me one door closes and another one opens. After 40 years with the company this month I've had a good run as print media isn't what it used to be. I'm just surprised I've fooled them as long as I have. I'm in a good place now a lot better than I was a couple years ago for sure.
