I would guess them. It's gotta be a recent team in the AFC. The Texans had a OT Thanksgiving game their best year fairly recently. If not the Jags it's the Bucs.
It can’t be an NFC North or East team since the Lions and Cowboys play every year. Feel like it has to be either Texans, Jags or Panthers since they’re the newest franchises, but I also feel like I’ve seen them on Thanksgiving...so my guess is the Bengals
I think that is wishful thinking on your part the D is improving and the offense well its good even when they play average
I know the Browns haven't played many, but I do remember them playing one. I'm going logically here, with one of the two newest teams and an AFC team at that since the NFC always plays on Thanksgiving... I'll go with the Jaguars?
Dammit, I need to hit the "there are more posts" button before I respond...Oh well Happy Thanksgiving all, if I don't make it in on Thursday
Todd Gurley hurt his ankle Monday night... Rams running back Todd Gurley‘s streak of games with at least one touchdown ended at 13 games when the Chiefs kept him out of the end zone in Monday night’s 54-51 Rams win. Gurley played a more limited role in the Rams offense than usual as his 12 carries were the lowest of the season. Gurley made no mention of being injured after the game, although it was discussed on social media and head coach Sean McVay admitted his workhorse back wasn’t 100 percent. McVay said, via Greg Beachem of the Associated Press, that Gurley “got rolled up on on the far sideline” and hurt his ankle during the game. McVay added that Gurley will be fine. The Rams have a bye in Week 12 before returning to action against the Lions on December 2. Gurley became the first player to pass 1,000 rushing yards during Monday night’s game. He also leads the league in rushing attempts and rushing touchdowns. (PFT)
Broncos release veteran CB Adam 'Pacman' Jones... Pacman's game in Denver is over. The Broncos released 14-year veteran cornerback Adam Jones on Tuesday after he appeared in just seven games with the organization. Jones signed with Denver in late August and started two games in September, but his playing time had waned in recent weeks. He posted one interception and nine tackles for the Broncos, and he occasionally served as a kick returner. At 35 years old, Jones might have a hard time finding another team, although he's done some of his best work in his 30s. Jones made his lone Pro Bowl in 2015 and was an All-Pro in 2014, both seasons coming during an eight-year stint with the Cincinnati Bengals. (NFL.com)
Jerry Jones: I wouldn't trade Dak Prescott for two 1st-rd picks Even if that included the FIRST OVERALL pick...? "If someone walked in here right now and looked like they were going to get the No. 1 pick in the draft, and said 'We’ll give you two picks for Dak', I wouldn’t even consider it." Day-um. Dude, you have to at least "consider" it.
This isn't the draft to do it, imho. Are you thinking about making Hebert the #1 overall pick? He might not even declare...
Here's the thing: I like Dak more than most folks, I think. He's flawed, his footwork's a mess, but I think he's a guy you can go to war with. Beyond that, I'll be the first to admit I haven't even come CLOSE to looking at available QB prospects. And from what I've heard (addressing Irish's follow-up), this ISN'T necessarily a great year for QBs. BUT - you're presented with what looks to be the #1 overall, plus another first rounder...doesn't that at least merit consideration?
Not just QBs, this isn't a draft that a team needs offense, is going to get excited about... If you are desperate for defensive players, you won't be disappointed.
