Cat and I shared a birthday on November 17th. Except im 10 years older... oy.

 

Ok, one of my brothers has a birthday on nov.16th and my other brother was born in 1971.

 

1961 here...

 

I was just thinking about cat, that would be strange if it was nov.16th. Same day as one brother and same year as another.

 

No games scheduled for Thanksgiving...

Saturday's NHL Action... Featuring, Detroit vs Buffalo.

 

Detroit Red Wings vs. Buffalo Sabres.

Now that's hockey!

The Sabres have come back to win - I think - 7 during this 8 game streak. That's laudatory, it is also completely unsustainable. I won't call this a potential let down game because Buffalo remembers all too well the negative feeling of a loosing team. They're winning because they take every opponent - every period - seriously. To me, however, it smells like theyre due for a stinker.

One thing for certain the Sabres and Wings will give you 60 minutes and never quit. The Wings in their streak of going 9-2 won half those in OT and one or two in a shootout. They (both clubs) have been finding ways to get points and that's the bottom line right now. A close, fast paced, thriller is what im expecting. If Hutton gets the nod... Hutton vs Howard ought to be a beauty.
Big test for the Red Wings in my opinion.
