Normally I'd agree with that. For a thousand years we've always driven to my mothers house. (an hour+away) And I am the only football fan in the room. Now, my mom is getting up there in years and doesn't want to do that anymore. OK fine. The plan now is to stay home and my daughter and her husband are flying in from Florida. My wife and both of them are all horse trainers. I'm not. Let them yak away in the other room while I watch the Saints stomp on some poor bastards. Wait... Are we playing the Cowboys ??? I gotta look !!! If so,,, that's even better !!!!

 

OH HELL YES !! We get to feast on that sorry ass bunch of turkeys !!!!!

 

I don't fuss much for having the game scheduled that day, but.....

• I don't want to miss a play during a Saints game, and there are so many distractions

• Sometimes expletives slip out that I don't want the young guests to know I use

TRUE STORY

My wife would have to go off to some horse show, but couldn't take my daughter who was 4 y/o +/- at the time. So, she got to hang around the house with dad. Well, I'm outside fixing or working on something. I'd drop a wrench or a hammer or something. And I'd say "Oh s**t" Then I'd realize that she was standing 4 feet away from me. I didn't think much about it at the time. But a few weeks later, my daughter got to hang with dad again. She had something in her hand and dropped it.

She said "OH SHIRT"

I tried to be careful after that. But the horse was out of the barn.

She's 31 y/o now. And she knows all the words.

Just enjoy the game. WHO DAT !!!!!!

 

My brother's grandkids are 7 and under

Somewhere around there, but I got a tongue coated with tabasco sauce if I was caught using them
