I like the fact that the HC is letting his horses run, keep doing what you're doing, they're a fun team to watch.
The first two weeks was fun to watch as a leaf fan until babs reined it all in. I know structure is important and hardliners cringe at the amount of goals allowed.

BTW Dan.........I'm looking at picking up Linus Ullmark.....prospect Goalie for the Sabres.....just wondering your take on him ???

 

Ullmark is an awesome pickup. I’ve used him a few times in my Yahoo league. He’d also be an excellent addition in a Keeper League.

I know there's a Potential Trades board, but this is just too early to be taken as a legit. possibility. I'm hearing Sprong could be sprung from Pittsburgh. Especially Frank, has anyone heard this and if there is anything to it, what will it take to snare him?

If it's got any chance then you have to think that Buffalo would be a player. They're trying to build a core around guys between 18 & 24 - Sprong check. Sprong is good - check (although he's not producing now). Botterill knows Sprong probably better than anyone outside of Pittsburgh, and he has already established a history of working with Rutherford - check.

 

Lava, Frank already answered your Ullmark question. I think he's going to get a few more starts than he's been getting (he's 4-0 now). The Sabres have, IMO, developed this player properly and he looks like an NHL starter.
