That I agree with, but I was focusing on "If you are going to cost your team 15 yards with a celebration, at least be original." I don't think originality was too important if it was a tribute.
Guess that is more just my opinion. He just gave an interview, it clearly was a tribute. I personally didn't like when Horn did it, didn't like it today. The only celebration I really liked that used a pre-planned prop that wasn't a part of the football was TO's sharpie. I thought that was hilarious and original. Just my opinion though, I'm sure plenty will disagree with that.
Peterman is spayshell. Love him for what he is. The absolute worst QB that ever played in this era. His mom probably is having issues.
With Prescott throwing the ball? You have a bad pass catcher and a bad thrower. Odds of upgrade -.20%
What a week to be a Giants fan! I got to watch some good football, installed some new lighting in my house and woke up on Monday morning and wasn't pissed off about how shitty a franchise I support. I even watched some tape on college prospects. Right now I wish the Giants played less often!
Dez was on pace for a 1000-yard season and had 8 TDs in 2016 with Dak throwing. Cooper is younger - and better - than Dez was in 2016. Not writing this off just yet.
Big and impressive win by the Chargers in Seattle. I believe they are a force to be reckon with come playoff time. Rivers is underrated.
What's impressive is that they're overcoming such notable injury problems. But, they're always regular season heroes - we'll see how they do in the post-season.
Falcons are back to life. They're now out of the cellar in the NFC South (which is up to 20 combined wins - and all four teams have had their bye weeks) and have edged ahead of the Packers in the Wild Card standings. The front office didn't make any trade deadline moves at all. The big transaction was extending the contract of their long snapper. I kinda wonder if there was some intent in that - specifically doing the extension right then as a tongue-in-cheek way of giving the middle finger to the sports talk radio etc idiots who always pound the table for every team to make the Big Trade no matter how costly or stupid those deals would be. You want an exciting, big splash transaction? Well, suck on this...

Marcus Mariota throws two TDs, runs for another as Titans earn 28-14 win over Cowboys... Tennessee quarterback Marcus Mariota completed 21 of 29 passes for 240 yards with a pair of touchdowns and run for a third for 4:38 remaining to carry the Titans to a 28-14 victory over the Dallas Cowboys on Monday night. The Cowboys had seemingly dominated the first quarter of the game as Mariota lost a pair of fumbles on their first two drives. However, Dallas managed only seven points of their own on a touchdown pass from Dak Prescott to Amari Cooper. Brett Maher missed a 38-yard field goal and Prescott was intercepted by Kevin Byard in the end zone after the Cowboys had reached the Titans 4-yard line as Dallas could only manage a 7-0 cushion despite the ball bouncing their way early on. Cooper caught five passes for 58 yards and a touchdown in his first game with the Cowboys. Following the lost fumbles on their first two possessions of the game, the Titans mounted back-to-back touchdown drives to take the lead. Derrick Henry‘s 1-yard run capped a 15-play, 80-yard drive to even the game at 7-7. Mariota then connected with Dion Lewis for a 18-yard touchdown as the Titans grabbed their first lead of the night. Prescott would connect with Allen Hurns for a 23-yard touchdown to tie the game at 14-14 headed into halftime. Prescott completed 21 of 31 passes for 243 yards and two touchdowns with an interception for Dallas. Jayon Brown sacked Prescott and forced a fumble that was recovered by the Titans at the Cowboys 40-yard line. Seven plays later, Mariota would hit Jonnu Smith on a shovel pass for a 7-yard touchdown to grab a 21-14 lead. After a missed 28-yard field goal by Ryan Succop kept the lead at just seven with 11 minutes remaining, Mariota would lead one more scoring drive to seal the victory. Mariota scrambled for a 9-yard touchdown to cap a 64-yard touchdown drive and give Tennessee the 28-14 advantage. (NBC's PFT)
Dez Bryant, Brandon Marshall working out for Saints... Fresh off of a season-defining win, the New Orleans Saints are looking to expand their receiving corps and perhaps add some All-Pro talent. The Saints are set to work out three wide receivers on Tuesday, including former Dallas Cowboys star Dez Bryant, sources told NFL Network's Jane Slater. Former Seattle Seahawks receiver Brandon Marshall is also working out with New Orleans after recently visiting Detroit, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport added. Former Eagles, Colts and Ravens wide receiver Kamar Aiken also is working out for the team Tuesday, per Rapoport. Bryant has been team-less since the 'Boys released him in April. He has visited multiple teams, including the Cleveland Browns in August, but has yet to sign. If signed by the Super Bowl-contending Saints, Bryant (30 years old) or Marshall (34) would join a receivers' room led by Michael Thomas and populated by Tre'Quan Smith, Austin Carr and Cameron Meredith. Against Los Angeles on Sunday, those three combined for just two receptions (all Smith), while Thomas racked up 12 catches for 211 yards. New Orleans could use some balance and sure hands on the outside. Is either Dez, Marshall or Aiken the guy for the job? (NFL.com)
