as my company's Legal Records Manager - that statement is an old wives tale. a messy desk is a potential risk for retention infractions and a good cause to lose key documents pertaining to work or the company. a messy desk means you're disorganized. hahaha.

Well we know many bosses are jokes. Some think showing up on time and let okong busy is all that matters. Well the guy arriving a minute late every once in a while with an empty desk is the guy getting all his work done and the ones coming in 30 my inutes early with paperwork all over the place are the ones spending 2 hours having breakfast, browsing the internet or doing their makeup while getting nothing done. But if the boss walks buy they look engrossed in work while the neat guy is too lazy to get busy.
