Hue Jackson - Should I Stay Or Should I Go Now Thread

No I am seeing that Kitchens was not Gregggg Willllliams pick for OC, and the Browns are being ripped for naming Ryan Lindley (former QB) as the RB coach. This whole "Browns will be Browns" is so BS and is tiring. Hue Jackson was an offensive coach, but has also coached ST and DBs at various points. Ive seen plenty of guys who were DEs end up coaching TE or some other similar thing. What you coach is not necessarily what you were good at when you played (if you played).

And that's exactly what it is... people make a big deal of nothing because "Cleveland Browns" was associated to the report.

Josh McDaniels played wide receiver in college and started his coaching career with defensive backs.

Sean McVay played wide receiver in college and coached tight ends in Washington before being promoted to offensive coordinator.

A good coach is a good coach for a number of reasons, least of which might be their position specialty.

    Oh boy...

They should have him on Monday after Gregggg Williams beats the juggernaut Chiefs with his team. The excuses will easily be cut in half.

Objectively, Hue Jackson was the worst thing to happen to this franchise.

Where did you get the picture of Baker Mayfield on his rubber ducky?

Though, truth be told, the worst thing that ever happened to this franchise happened in 1995, and nothing will top that.

Tragic, sure... but it was unavoidable, given who the owner was. Any better owner would have been able to balance his own checkbook and wouldn't need so slink out of a town to avoid bankruptcy.

And even in the Hue Saga, the culpability is probably 70% Hue, 29% Haslam, and 1% Sashi (never should have let Mitch Schwartz walk)... so you it again is part of the outcome when you have a terrible owner.

No doubt that this ^^^^^ tops the list. But, IMHO, number 2 is having Randy Lerner as principle owner for a decade.

Hue must have been working out to be able to throw everyone under the bus and try to present that he had no fault in anything. Hue saying he didn't have any pieces to work with when he was the genius trying to use Cody Kessler to throw deep.

Thanks Hue. For letting everyone understand why you were fired. Nothing is your responsibility, and if it had been, we'd have been winning. Too bad they didn't make you Head Coach, so you could do what you wanted.... oh wait.....

What a gutless, whiny bitch. I believe he's made a pretty good case for why we couldn't win more than 1 game under his direction. And being critical of Mayfield who basically bought him 4 more games. What can I say.

So let me get this straight Hue: you were responsible for the hiring of Dorsey and Haley, not responsible for passing on Wentz and Goeff, would have made Baker a better QB (with the sterling track record you've amassed in Cleveland) like you did with RGIII, Cody Kessler, DeShone Kizer, and let's not forget the temper tantrum over not getting AJ (thank you Sashi).

It's tough to see how they could let you go. God, how bad will we be now, without our messiah.

Can I make a suggestion? STFU

Hue Jackson revision: "I wanted to draft Carson Wentz, Patrick Mahomes, and Deshaun Watson."

Hue Jackson reality: "I want to trade a second and third round pick for A.J. McCarron."

Fun Fact! Through his media mouthpiece (Mike Silver) who got unprecedented access thanks to Hue, we know for a fact that he preferred Goff to Wentz and didn't think Wentz was worth an early pick. In the 2017 draft, they knew they wanted Myles at #1 and Hue personally preferred Malik Hooker at #12. It's almost a lock that Hue Jackson did not want Baker Mayfield and that John Dorsey very much did. We know that Hue wasn't "on board" until the Browns put Mayfield through a private practice... long after Dorsey had already made up his mind, according to reports.

Can we just move on? Hue is gone, he said some stupid shit...but he's gone. Can't we just put it in the past and focus on the now?

Right now, my bigger concerns are finding depth at CB and the offensive line..Is there anyone on the street that can help?

(edit) probably for a different thread...I would like to see this thread die...

Either his source is Greggggg Williams, or we should have done this years ago:

    A couple others worth noting...
