Things are looking up for the yotes as they look to go 6-5 with a 2-0 lead on the Sens. They beat tampa 7-1 a couple of days ago.

 

i read last night Bob is done after this year and Torts is going with the young kid in goal. Bob will get a lot of interest for sure.

 

i didn't notice this before in other rinks, but on the ice for the Anaheim Ducks they have advertisements behind the goal line in each rounded corner on their ice. doesn't look that bad, but i hope they don't do anymore than the 4 corners.

 

Korpisalo doesn't look like a lock.

 

Pretty soon they'll come out with holograph commercials in between puck drops.

A 75 year old lady from Toronto was also unfortunately a victim. They held her funeral today, she was living in pittsburgh.

 

I'm understanding a little more about the deal with MGM. Computer chips will be planted in the pucks and on the players. They'll now be able to offer individual bets, McDavid vs Crosby, Matthews vs Laine. Still not sure how that would work, everyone knows McD is faster than Laine, but Laine has a harder shot.

Jake Virtanen had 10 goals in 75 games last year. He's already reached the halfway mark in 14 games this year.

Big hit Jake is fast. He's been unable to control his hands until this year. I like his ceiling with the new Canucks. Interesting how he has played better with increased ice time. Now if only Louie could get hurt...

 

Jake is still only playing about 10-12 min a night. But his line-mates are way better. Injuries have made this team exciting.

 

Vegas already does individual bets for the nfl, qb vs qb, wr vs wr, rb vs rb.

i saw this last week...it was a flexible razor thin microchip that is applied to your skin and can give off when scan your heart rate, body temp and vitals. we are all getting implants soon. they will have chips implanted in our wrists with Qwerty keyboards in them to text and call people.

 

now i know why i never give out halloween candy...no one comes ! 2 kids came and they were neighbors of mine. i sat out there for 90 min till dark. had a nice stogies as well. when i was a kid we were out till 9-10pm easily. now they have hourly rules for when kids can be out and must be home. soft. haha.
