I was thinking what if the Vikings had Kirk Cousins instead of Christian Ponder when he started forVikings how good AP could have been,he should have retired as a Vikings AP could help the run game seeing that they have none..bet Dalvin Cook and his hamstring would get better real quick if AP was still here
I was thinking that if Diggs got moar red zone touches, he would help my fantasy team. Dalvin Dixon is spayshell.
Really missing Jerick McKinnon he made Murray look good cause this guy sucks,I thought he was gonna be good but I was WRONG and how long should the Vikings wait on Dalvin Cook and his hamstring
Its a tough call right now. Do they pull off a trade, sign a FA, or get Boone and Thomas some touch's? I think the o-line is good, but the backs lack speed/talent/experience right now. I certainly hope Cook gets his stuff together... he was awesome pre-injury.
Would it make sense to trade for Jordan Howard right now? His value is low right now, and he would be a great grinder IF you still have faith in that defense. He’d be a great fit. Sucks about Griffen. Hope he pulls through.
Thanks for dropping by, Bear-man... I still don't know if its the right RB that's missing or the offensive scheme needs tweaked. J Howard would be nice right now. Murray aint cutting it and Cook cant stay healthy and the depth of Boone and Thomas is shaky. Howard would be interesting. Good luck to you and your Bears (except when they play the Vikings)... they really are a surprise this year and look very legit.
Seeing that the Vikings run game is non-existent Jordan Howard would help he's a lot better than Murray cause he's just pitful, the BEARS look really good this year the defense looks nasty GO VIKINGS
Dalvin Cook hamstring is becoming a nagging problem,he had hamstring problems at FSU it's like week after week it's always the same thing
Shocker!!!!!! Dalvin Cook is gonna play against the Cardinals we will know how much he's plays hope he plays the whole game about time he plays
I thought Dalvin Cook was going to play now he's a game time decision, again it's the same old song here...that danm hamstring again
Report: Vikings think Mike Hughes tore his ACL... Vikings first-round pick Mike Hughes hurt his knee on Sunday and initial reports indicate that the cornerback’s rookie season is over. Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reports the Vikings believe Hughes has torn his ACL. Head coach Mike Zimmer said after the game that Hughes will have an MRI and reports from the game said the corner was on crutches. Hughes had played more than 70 percent of the snaps heading into Sunday’s win over the Cardinals and he returned an interception for a touchdown in the season opener. He had one tackle against Arizona. Xavier Rhodes, Mackensie Alexander and Trae Waynes would be the top corners in Minnesota if Hughes is indeed done for the season. (NBC's PFT)
Hope that Mike Hughes is alright having to depend on Mackenzie Alexander makes me nervous, and after what I saw from Mike Boone Dalvin Cook has got to be a little concerned here
it was nice to see that Murray got some game, but he did this last year some games he would be MIA and other games he would play like he did Sunday cause there gonna need this kind of effort in the coming weeks
Mike Hughes has a ACL tear dammit bad luck there Time for Holton Hill to step up to see what you bring to the table
Looks like Tom Compton has a MCL injury he might play who knows time to make a trade..Dalvin Cook is gonna miss two games supposed to come back after the bye not gonna hold my breath, prove me wrong here
Vikings receivers feel they let the team down on Sunday night... Vikings wide receivers Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen have been a big part of what’s gone right for the Vikings this season and they were both over 100 yards on Sunday night, but the loss to the Saints was not a bright spot for either player. Thielen lost a fumble late in the first half that the Saints turned into a touchdown and a 17-13 halftime lead. Diggs stopped short on a route in the second half that led to Kirk Cousins throwing a pass right into P.J. Williams‘ hands and Williams took it for a touchdown that helped put the game out of reach. Thielen said he’s “disappointed in myself” and Diggs said his mistake “will wrack my brain until we see them again.” When you throw in Laquon Treadwell‘s unsportsmanlike conduct penalty after the Saints’ fumble recovery and his failure to bring in a fourth down pass, it makes for a bad night across the board for the Minnesota wideouts. “This one stings, because we left a lot of plays [out there],” Treadwell said, via the Pioneer Press. “We let the team down. We know that, and we’ve got to bounce back.” Bouncing back next Sunday would be a welcome development as it would give the Vikings a divisional win over the Lions and a 5-3-1 record as they head into their bye week. Sometimes i wonder about Zimmer seems like he's always being out coached, and when are the Vikings going to show Tricky Ricky the door enough of this madness this being good but not good enough, there needs to be a change it's getting a little old
I understand your frustration, but Tricky is one of the better GM's in the NFL right now. There is a lot of parody in todays NFL, but the Vikings are in the top echelon of teams and I think he should get a little bit of the credit for that... just my 2 cents, but it could always easily be worse.
