Why don’t you guys cut him? We need another CB to pair with Haden.

He's not getting torched deep and costing us $15 million a season.

Unfortunately for you the Sashi Purge is over. Dorsey is adding talent, not eliminating it.

    The good: It's over.

The bad: -The Browns kicker....If we had just addressed this before the season, instead of 2-5-1, we could easily be 5-3 or better. IMO, that's Dorsey's biggest mistake in the player personnel department. We should have gone after Giorgio Tavecchio or Dan Bailey when we had the opportunity. Our kicking game has been brutal.

    - The Browns offensive line. These guys are not giving our young QB and RB much of a chance.

    - The offensive gameplan. They never found any rhythm whatsoever. It was sad to watch. A couple times I thought they were gonna get Mayfield killed. And where the hell was Njoku? Probably our best physical mismatch and he doesn't get targeted??? Also, not sure what demoralizes a team any faster than going 3 and out after the defense comes up with a big turnover, but we specialize in it.

-The defensive gameplan. Gotta agree with Myles Garrett. Why didn't we just play them straight up like in week one, line up and punch them in the mouth??? Instead I don't know what we were doing. Did Gregggg outsmart himself? I think so....

The Ugly: Seeing Joe Haden pick off Mayfield, when our WR makes ZERO effort to break up the play....

John Dorsey indicated they were going to be active on the phones today...Does he get any trades done before the deadline and try to give this interim coaching staff a chance to improve?

What would you like to see happen today?

Odell on the block? DO you want him?
I heard the name Golden Tate, does he improve this team?
How about an offensive tackle, any names being thrown around that could improve this team?
    What else?

Would you rather skip the trade route and finally start looking on the street?
Does Dez Bryant get revisited? Personally, the first instinct was he didn't want to be here, I would leave it alone.
How about someone that has been here and excelled? Terrelle Pryor is still available and about 2 weeks into his recovery...will he be ready to go soon and would he help us?
    ANY tackles to be found?

Well we know Al Saunders likes Terrelle Pryor, so I would imagine he has to be on the radar, unless his injury is more severe than first realized....So I definitely think he's a possibility....I agree on Dez. Leave him alone.

It would be awesome if we made a move for O'dell Beckham. Pairing him with Mayfield could be an epic combination for years to come. I know OB is a diva, and he has some strange antics on the sideline, but IMO his talent trumps all that. And I believe Baker will get him the rock and keep him happy. Don't know what the cost would be, but that's a move I'd be excited about....

What about a kicker? I have zero confidence in Joseph....

It's been reported the Browns have shown interest in Golden Tate (Detroit). I think that makes sense, since the Lions are reportedly only looking for a mid-round pick in return. I like Odell, but if the Raiders were able to fleece Dallas for a first round pick, a talent like OBJ should go for at least two ones (and we need to save those to trade for Sean McVay at the end of the year, remember).

I feel like anyone looking to trade a left tackle doesn't have a very good one.

Since we got rid of Hue, I'm okay opening up the purse strings a little bit more in trades. Nothing ridiculous, of course, but I'd like to see Greggggg Williams and Freddie Kitchens have success. They need a few more pieces before that happens.

Here's one I saw on Twitter... Name a player you would:
    • Trade for
    • Trade away
    • Cut
    • Promote to starter
    • Bench

Odell? Hmmmm. I don't know what to think about this. His media reputation is, shall we say "mixed", yet the players seem to think he's a great teamate. He is a show, and a rare talent, but murcurial, to say the least. I am also concerned about his impact financially. Get him and your ability to shop is restricted, and we "need" some O line help, I think. Or, maybe we just need a new O line coach, who can motivate and or teach the guys in the room.

I'm still unconvinced. I'm not really inclined to reach for the top shelf, when I think we have some pretty solid guys who are unavailable. It's the long term part that scares me. I just don't like Odel's need for attention, and fear it would not only demand special care, but could garner animosity across the team.

Yes he would be an immediate and phenomenal upgrade at the postion, and would likely make Landry back into the top slot guy. Hmmm. Yet we aren't a "this year" team, and I continue to worry about his maturity issues.

Like I said. I don't know what to think about this one.

Great question SAS. I think all of those kind of moves are about to go down, and I think most players on the team have to feel it. No security.

That said, I thnik most of our issues are among the coaching staff, and there I'd be comfortable with losing the Walrus, and the ST coach. There are guys who could be at risk, and while the O line hasn't done well, someone pointed out that these guys, other than our LT, have proven to be capable, yet somehow aren't performing in orange and brown. Coaching.

The defensive side is more vulnerable, since we have more depth there, yet injuries have thinned that as well, so who knows.

    Trade Away: Tyrod Taylor
    Cut: Greg Joseph

Yes, they were fleeced... and the giants might refuse any offers because of it. I won't ignore talent because of a pipe dream for McVay though. The Rams would be idiots to get rid of him, so I don't think it is even an option. Yes, I know you were being facetious, but at the same time, I would love to have McVay here.

    I like games...

    Name a player you would:
    • Trade for O'Dell Beckham Jr., he is a transitional player that could help Baker Mayfield get to the top level.
    • Trade away Jamie Collins, word on the street is the Patriots want him back.
    • Cut Greg Joseph
    • Promote to starter Genard Avery, this was an EASY choice after trading Jamie Collins
    • Bench Desmond Harrison

Oh yeah, you're right... I'm re-thinking my trade now, we are actually pretty thin at LB. I was working off memory, and my memory sucks.
