Does it have to be someone specifically drafted by the Browns? Or can it be someone who suited up for the team and/or was a starter here? Because you'd also have...

    Derek Anderson - Bills
    Brian Hoyer - Patriots
    Josh McCown - Jets
    Brock Osweiler - Dolphins
    Robert Griffin - Ravens

So depending on how lenient you are with the term, nearly 1/3 of all backup quarterbacks in the NFL are ex-Browns. I think in Week 17 they should all start.

    That should be a ritual...lol!

Like a ceremony announcing the postseason is upon us....The "running of the ex Browns QB's"....Put my money on Kessler for best completion percentage.

Oh, I think they all should count. How did I miss some of those? lol! That's ten names we've listed. Truly remarkable.

FTR: I think we could even add Austin Davis to the list. I believe he's on the Titans roster....

Nah. The mannequin in the window was meant to insult....I think it's kind of impressive that we've had that many guys in here that were at least NFL back-up worthy.

    Released 10/9/2018.

But Alex Tanney is on the Giants' squad, so he would count.

    The Good:

Baker Mayfield named Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week for the second time.

That makes 5 out of 7 weeks, a Browns player has donned the honor. Ward and Mayfield each with two, Chubb with one

Bucs safety Jordan Whitehead fined $26,739 for Baker Mayfield hit....

They fire referees....They fine people for ridiculous hits that weren't even flagged.....WTH good does it really do us? This has been SO ridiculous. I don't know how Hue doesn't just come unglued....

Until these refs take notice that the Cleveland Browns are an actual viable team in this league, I'm not expecting much to change...It's like we have to play against two teams every week...

In fact, I'll make a bold prediction right now that we will get massively F@#&%D by some ridiculous call at some point in the game by the NFL referees tomorrow in Pittsburgh .....It's happened every week, so not even sure if that qualifies as a bold prediction, but I feel very confident in that one.

The Good: Shawn Hocculi and is staff were throwing flags in the KC/DEN matchup like they were fearing for their jobs
The Bad: They still managed to miss Phillip Lindsay riding a guys back for about 20 yds on a big run
    The Ugly: The Browns

    The Good
    • Me. I won the bet(s) with @gidion regarding Denzel Ward versus Antonio Brown:

Antonio Brown against Cleveland: 167 yards, 3 touchdowns.

Taking suggestions for what avatar y'all want to see...
    • Seth DeValve. TE1, and it's not close. DeValve has a 100% catch rate (3 catches, 3 targets) and a perfect passer rating (54 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT, 158.3 QB rating) while being thrown to. It's criminal he's not getting more snaps. Obviously, he was injured early on but he's been healthy for the last three weeks and he's seen a total of 21 offensive snaps. It is unfathomable how with the injuries we have at wide receiver, we've got a former wide receiver in DeValve who's great at catching the football, can be used as a blocker, and can play in-line or outside, and he's getting seven snaps a game.

    • Myles Garrett. Generational talent has set a Cleveland Browns records with most sacks through the first eight games of a season (8). He's on pace for 16 sacks this season, which would also be a Browns record. He's doing this against double-teams, constant and aggressive holding, and ridiculously high snap count mileage. He's probably the most talented player on the roster and we should cherish him while he's here.
    The Bad
    • Baker Mayfield's development. Mayfield is playing with poor offensive tackles, poor wide receivers, poor game plans, and poor coaching. At what point should we feel good about his development? He was nearly killed by the tackles yesterday against Pittsburgh, came up limping/sore after several hits, and is part of a string of three games (Chargers, Buccaneers, and Steelers) where this is becoming a trend. Receivers averaged 5.0 yards per attempt. Running game averaged 3.5 yards per attempt. No one is stepping up to help our the rookie QB.

    • Bob Wiley. Chris Hubbard went from very good, swing lineman at Pittsburgh to massive liability in Cleveland. That's not talent... that's coaching. Hall of Fame LT Joe Thomas has said repeatedly that Desmond Harrison is as physically gifted as it comes at the position, and he's a turnstile on the line. That's not talent... that's coaching. That Austin Corbett isn't your starting center, Greg Robinson isn't your starting left guard, and Joel Bitonio isn't your starting left tackle (e.g., the most talented combination of talent) is mind-boggling when you see Hubbard and Harrison getting beaten routinely, getting zero push in the running game, and trying to get the franchise QB killed. Joe Thomas' hall of fame career book ended by the Browns killing Tim Couch and trying to kill Baker Mayfield is peak Cleveland Browns.

    • Todd Haley's offense. Takeaway. Three-and-out. Browns may be setting a record for least amount of points off of takeaways. One of your best playmakers (Duke Johnson) has been promised more touches since Hue Jackson first stepped into Berea. He got four touches in yesterday's game... three on the first drive (a 66-yard scoring drive, the first one of the season). His Erhardt-Perkins style offense was supposed to be package-driven and help use formations to confuse a defense... instead, his formations and called plays are as predictable as they come. Is he better than Hue? Of course... but so is every other option, so that's a very low bar. This is a guy who went to the post season with Matt Cassel, so he has the ability... he just hasn't shown it here.
    The Ugly
    • Hue Jackson. I literally wrote about 12 pages worth of things, but decided it didn't matter. If 1-31 wasn't enough... if 3-36-1 isn't enough... what will it take to convince "Huckleberry" Haslam that Hue is in over his head and needs to be removed? This team isn't going anywhere until Hue's fired. Time to move on.
