In part this. In part joe not playing well at all. some truly woeful play calls.

Oh well, we gave up 21 against the best O in the league, or one of them, its not too bad, its a shitty loss over all and our O didnt do enough. But this is what we have to deal with while Joe is our QB.

The saints really came to play, i havent seen a team be so scripted in a while, they did everything to counter us and it worked. fair play on them, great game by their O.

    Fuck flacco.

when they were talkkng to Tucker on sidelines after he nearly missed one earlier does anyone think he was hurt or was it just about the wind there tonight???

I know they are good, and i know they had a bye week but this fucking sucks.

really fucking sucks for some reason. We played so inconsistently and just got outcoached and then outplayed.

I feel bad for Tucker as he nails them, looking at the kick i dont even know what he did wrong...was it a gust at the right time? like wtf.

The only thing left to say is just to the following

    FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!

    i feel your pain man

like every time the steelers lose

this is a horrible way to lose a game

  15. This is just ridiculous. Joe had some bad passes but he tied that game in the final seconds. Who the fuck would ever think Tucker would miss an XP? Joe had a 98.1 passer rating. We know he's no Brees, he does win games and there is no one else on roster that his as good. Lamar Jackson is miles away from being a starter. If you want to bench Joe for RG WHAT would you possibly bench him for? Tying up the game? The secondary was abused all game. The front 7 barely pressured Brees and notched one sack in the 3rd qtr and 3 QB hits all game.

If you think Joe not scoring one more TD or getting another crucial 1st down, I'll say the defense failed to stop either. It could've just as easily ended Ravens 17 - Saints 14.

    Hold your horses there.

Joe not playing well and not having a good game does not mean i think we should bench him. You tend to strawman a lot. I think he is an average qb with suspects mechanics. And today was not a good day for him. The reason his passes get batted has nothing to do with frame or anything, its because he locks on and telegraphs his throws. It's hard to get seperation on routes when the D can see where your qb's eyes are going and you have a history of tunnel vision. this is something joe has never really fixed. As for our team, this team goes as far as the D takes it but needs the O to step up too. holding the NO offense with 2 weeks to prep to 24 is a solid job. it is not phenomenal but if you looked at their schemes, it looks like they had 2 weeks to prep- they went and made a pretty great counter plan to our D and threw a lot of out of the blue decisions at us.

I maintain that he is not good, language choices aside. That NO D is not good, he just has poor decision making when flustered, which happens, and he over shoots his throws all the damn time. Look, he had a poor game, and im pretty annoyed at him but he wasnt the sole reason we lost and I am, and was, venting.

I'll say this, more than any player I really do put this on Harbaugh. When the Ravens actually attacked, they scored. We've seen this before with every OC so John is the common factor

Yeah, we do occasionally have Bills type games or Miami games, or such when we blow out a team, but whenever we play a top end team, we get anywhere between a 3-10 point lead and suddenly stop attacking. Regardless of what quarter it is. Joe has actually mentioned in interviews that he loves being aggressive and hates when we get conservative, but we always end up going into scared ball offense. This game shouldn't ended as it did. 17 points on that trash Saints defense prior to the last 2 minutes is a disappointment. The defense did their job and more.

The only pass I'll give the offense is that they had two rookies on the o-line, but it's not like they were liabilities from what I saw

Point on john is very valid.

As for the other stuff, i agree.

  19. I disagree with just about all of this. He didn't have a bad game, he had a decent game 279yds, 2 TDs, no INTs/FUMs, and a good passer rating. He had more completions and yards than Brees. There's no strawman on inferring from your comment that "he sucks" that benching is in the realm of possibility. Joe is good. He's not Brees, but he's not Bortles - who was benched today.

Let's be fair and accurate. Words do matter and least just say you wish he could've done more. He did what he could and would've got us to O/T had Tucker decided to miss his first XP to tie a game in the final seconds in his career.

No that is a strawman, you inferred incorrectly and essentially told me what my position is on something without clarifying, because benching someone is not dependant on just one factor; like my opinion of a player but also factors in their replacements and a multitude of other factors. So to be clear, i would not bench him.

As for disagreeing with just about all of it...you dont think Joe has a bad habbit of telegraphing his throws and doesnt always go through his progressions well?

I think rr1 raises a good point regarding the play calls but joe still excuted poorly, this was not a good D he faced, and he had shots and he got flustered as he tends to do.

I could but not agreeing with some of what i said but all? Words do matter.

Anyway, as i said i was venting but i do stand by him not being that good and i dont think he played well over all. I am however not sure how much to place at his feet versus john/oc for the misfires on the O side of the ball.

i dont think a conversation here will bear much fruit so ill leave it at that.

Hopefully we get our shit together and win the next one.
