could've added him but i didn't wanna do it versus dropping some quality bench guys better than he is. tough call though.

It can be a tough call to pick up a guy like Ito (who started the season 3rd on the depth chart) in favor of guys perceivably higher ranked. But I will say Tevin Coleman hasn't impressed this year, and the Falcons are a pretty high-scoring bunch.

curses Axe. now it's in my head. decisions, decisions. in the 1 league, we only have a 4 man bench, so to cut a guy for Lance Ito or Ito Smith is tough. His Yahoo projections aren't that high compared to my bench guys and 2 WRs I can't cut out of the 4 bench guys.

NFL fines Raiders $20K for injury report violation...

The 2018 season has not gone according to plan for Jon Gruden and the Raiders, and now an injury report violation can be added to the list of issues in Oakland.

NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Thursday that the Raiders were fined $20,000 for violating the league's injury report policy for failing to downgrade guard Kelechi Osemele from "questionable" to "out" when he didn't travel with the team to their Week 5 game vs. the Chargers in Los Angeles.

Osemele has not played since Week 4 due to a lingering knee issue.

The Raiders have their bye this week and next face the Colts on Oct. 28. (NFL.com)

Denver (2-4) leads 14-0, over the Cardinals (1-5)

Thursday Night Football has been pretty good games till this point, but its early and this could still be a good game.

The 'talkin' heads' said that Denver has not had back-to-back losing seasons since '74-75... I didn't know that and I think that's pretty impressive.

I have Coleman on my team. He’s been ok, with a couple good games too. My RBs are Gordon/Conner/Coleman. I just traded Lynch to another team for Cohen last week. I also have Kerryon Johnson and I just dropped Royce Freeman to pick up Trey Burton (need next week) from the wire.

Von Miller leads Broncos defense in forcing five Cardinals turnovers in 45-10 rout...

Von Miller made a pledge to whoop the backside of the Arizona Cardinals this week and spent all Thursday night ensuring the Denver Broncos followed through on that vow.

Todd Davis and Chris Harris Jr. each returned Josh Rosen interceptions for touchdowns, Miller had two strip-sacks of Rosen and Bradley Roby corralled a third interception as the Broncos rolled to a 45-10 victory over the Cardinals.

Denver forced five Arizona turnovers in total and sacked Rosen six times in the blow out win.

Phillip Lindsay rushed for 90 yards and a touchdown, Emmanuel Sanders caught six passes for 102 yards and a touchdown and Royce Freeman added a touchdown run for the Broncos.

Rosen’s first pass of the game was intercepted and returned by Davis for a 20-yard score as the Cardinals were overwhelmed at every turn.

Sanders hit Courtland Sutton for a 28-yard touchdown on an end around pass to give Denver a 14-0 edge midway through the first quarter.

After a 43-yard Phil Dawson field goal got Arizona on the board, Harris picked off Rosen and returned it 53 yards for a touchdown to increase the advantage to 21-3. Sanders was on the receiving end of a 64-yard touchdowns pass from Case Keenum and Freeman added a 1-yard touchdown run as the Broncos took a 35-3 advantage into halftime.

Rosen and Larry Fitzgerald connected on a 4-yard touchdown on Arizona’s only trip into the end zone on the night.

Miller than forced two fumbles on sacks of Rosen that directly led to 10 more points for Denver. Lindsay scored on a 28-yard touchdown run and Brandon McManus tacked on a 41-yard field goal as Denver took a 45-10 lead.

Bradley Chubb would add another strip-sack of Rosen as well, though Rosen recovered that one in the closing minutes. He would finish with 194 yards passing with 21 completions on 39 attempts with a touchdown and three interceptions for Arizona. (NBC's PFT)

shocked burton was a FA. He was drafted in both my leagues. TE are scarce this year too. I got Hooper from ATL and I'm happy with him. TEs went way too early for me to draft one, so i waited a long time bf drafting one.

    NFL unveils 100th season logo...

The NFL hit a home run in the year of the 50th Super Bowl with the simple but effective decision to transform the shield to all gold. For the league’s 100th season, the official logo is a swing and a miss.

The league unveiled the logo for the 2019 season on Thursday night. It looks like a quick and easy twist on the “Play Football” logo, with not nearly enough creativity or knowledge imagination to justify whatever someone was paid to design it.

It would be interesting to see the other options, and it would be interesting to know whether there was much of an internal debate on the final choice. The best logos are the ones that instantly resonate, that seem natural and obvious. But that also have a hint of fresh and new. This logo doesn’t resonate, it seems more sanitized than natural, and there’s nothing about it that it is any way obvious, fresh, or new.

In 1994, the NFL created a diamond-shaped logo with a 75 inside, which became a fixture on every team’s jersey. The 100th-season logo presumably will be plastered on the jerseys as well, and that may not be a good thing. (NBC's PFT)

Report: Marshawn Lynch to miss at least a month...

The Raiders have a bye this weekend, but the bad news is still coming their way.

Raiders head coach Jon Gruden said after last Sunday’s loss that there was some concern about running back Marshawn Lynch‘s groin injury and that Lynch would have an MRI to determine the extent of the injury.

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the results of that test are in and it looks like the Raiders are going to be without Lynch for an extended stretch. Rapoport reports that Lynch is expected to miss at least a month while recovering and adds that injured reserve is a possibility.

Lynch has 90 carries for 376 yards and three touchdowns this season. Doug Martin, Jalen Richard and DeAndre Washington are also on the depth chart in Oakland. (NBC's PFT)

Adam Thielen can tie NFL record Sunday...

Adam Thielen leads the NFL with 58 catches for 712 yards, putting him on pace to break Marvin Harrison’s single-season NFL record for catches (143) and just off the pace of Calvin Johnson’s single-season NFL record for receiving yards (1,899).

But there is another NFL record Thielen could break even sooner.

On Sunday, the Vikings receiver could tie Charlie Hennigan’s NFL record of seven consecutive 100-yard receiving games to open a season. Hennigan accomplished the mark with the Houston Oilers in 1961.

    Theilen has started this season with 102, 131, 105, 135, 116 and 123 yards.

“I’m not worried about it, honestly,” Theilen said, via Chris Tomasson of the Pioneer Press. “Just trying to get better. . . . Numbers sometimes mask how you’re playing. It doesn’t mean that you’re playing well or playing bad, so you’ve got to look at the tape. You’ve got to get better. Teams are just going to have a target on your back now.” (NBC's PFT)

After Carlos Hyde trade, Browns now have three fifth-round picks...

The Browns got the Jaguars’ fifth-round draft pick for sending running back Carlos Hyde to Jacksonville on Friday, and now they have three picks in that round.

Cleveland previously got New England’s fifth-round draft pick in the Josh Gordon trade, and the Browns still have their own fifth-round pick. The Browns also have two third-round picks and two seventh-round picks, thanks to previous trades.

Hyde likely wasn’t going to last long in Cleveland anyway: He was slated to have a $6 million cap hit next year, and he’s been outplayed this season by two younger running backs, Nick Chubb and Duke Johnson. So the Browns almost certainly would have cut him next year. To get a pick for him now is certainly preferable.

The Browns have prioritized building through the draft in recent years, not only with their own picks but by trading for more picks. They’re not quite doing that to the same extent this year, but they have now stockpiled 10 picks in 2019. (NBC's PFT)
