going to Pittsburgh tomorrow to see college buddies, golf 3 days and see the Steelers-Falcons with 3rd row endzone tix, on Sunday afternoon. I got my Pitt U, since my niece goes there and Steelers swag all packed. Can't wear my Eagles gear there, someone may stabbed me. oh wait, that would happen in philly. haha.

As predicted, I'm already spending on the Panthers' 25th anniversary merchandise. Given that they've now made Funky Buddha their brewery of choice, giving them full reign of the premier stadium bar, I have a feeling they'll be getting all my money. They're even making a beer exclusively for the franchise, to be sold there. So... goodbye, salary raise.

Also to note: Roberto Luongo, Nick Bjugstad, Aaron Ekblad, and Michael Matheson are some of the legitimately nicest dudes you'll ever meet. They were hamming it up with fans at this past weekend's season ticket holder event. The latter two were taking so long that the team reps had to tell them to tone it down - they were posing for pictures, signing whatever people wanted, etc. Bjugy and the girlfriend started talking about growing up in Minnesota, before someone pushed us along. Great guys.
