damn didnt know the leafs were that loaded. no hockey fan can convince me weiss, lehtera, weal and laughton are good or worth their money. they all suck. i rather save money by letting the prospects play and see how good they are and go from there. instead hextall backs weal and loves the others. why i have no idea?

 

Any Ahler would rather be with the big club in a 4th line role rather than where they are.

Panthers play their final preseason game tomorrow night. Coaches said that they want 95-100% of opening roster on the ice. Expect some serious cuts / assignments today / tomorrow morning...

Not sure if the coaches saw what they wanted to in yesterday's game. Lammikko and Vatrano made their cases, but the team played a generally poor game (only the fringe players were on the ice, save for a few minutes). They may scrap the plan for tomorrow night, and give a couple guys a final shot. Tough decisions to be made.

 

There’s a kid on the Penz named Riiiiiiikolaaa! I’m hoping he can make some noise. He had a solid preseason.
