They all look good, lol. I find the Patriots and Lions appealing too. Detroit needs to get on track and BB said nobody knows the Patriots like Patty, that could be a battle or another blowout also, I guess.

Chargers and Rams I will play close attention to also. Im real curious how San Diego will attack them... that could be the high scoring game of the week. I wanna see the Rams first hand as that's the next team after todays for the Vikings.

In regards to the CINvsCAR game, I gotta take the home team in a thriller. If Cincy steals that one, that says a lot for a team like them.

The battle for LA should be a good one. Most interesting of the week I think. When was the last time two LA teams played head to head?(and they're both solid teams) It will be another three years before they do it again. Barring a Super Bowl or one of them moving to Anchorage. Also KC/Frisco is interesting, two young and coming QBs. NO/ATL a week 3 matchup that could have playoff implications down the line.

Three duds. Any game the Bills or the Cards play in, Bradford should be hurt by Kickoff. Call me a homer, but, the Pats should win by double digits. It is early in the season and they historically play meh until mid October ish. We'll see, Lions are pretty bad though, and Patricia does and always has sucked.

Just an observation, but I don't think he has a handle on the team yet. From some of the preseason stuff being said to just standing on the sidelines and doing nothing or showing emotion when they were getting thrashed... im not sure the team is playing for him at the moment. This is just an opinion.

I agree. I've just never been very high on him. How anyone hired him as a HC after last years Super Bowl is beyond me.

Pats could use more weapons. Somehow I don't see Pitt dealing with NE though.

What a crazy 1st half of week 3. Told you that Vikes/Bills game would be a dud.

I haven't made one good decision today. In fantasy or with Bovada. I hate when this happens.

If everything closes out the way it looks like it will, I'll be 7-2 against the spread through 3 weeks.

    Week 1
    CAR -2.5, LAR - 4.5, BAL -7

    Week 2
    TB +3.5, SEA +3.5, NO -9.5

    Week 3
    CAR -3, MIA -3, BUF +16.5

If the Cowboys had a decent outside receiver, they’d be pretty good. As it stands now, no deep threat, average TEs, a couple good slot guys and Elliot = Dak holding the ball and getting slammed. On top of that, Dak is playing as he did last season so this team needs a defense to play perfect to have a chance. Today they’ve had a lot of penalties and mental errors, like Elliot stepping out of bounds for no reason on what would’ve been a TD. On he other side, Wilson is having a good game after a shaky start. Getting the ball out on time, accurate, with help from a couple blown coverages, Seahawks are really dominating the Cowboys.

Niners fear Jimmy Garoppolo suffered ACL injury...

San Francisco 49ers faithful are beseeching the football gods to spare their freshly-minted franchise savior.

The Niners fear quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo suffered an ACL injury during the fourth quarter of Sunday's 38-27 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters after the game.

Garoppolo will undergo an MRI on Monday to confirm the severity of the injury.

Scrambling down the sideline in an effort to pick up extra yardage, Garoppolo watched his left knee buckle just before he absorbed a big hit from cornerback Steven Nelson. He was ultimately carted to the locker room, after NFL Network's James Palmer captured the visibly distraught quarterback on the sideline.

Prior to the injury, Garoppolo had completed 20 of 30 passes for 251 yards and two touchdown passes. The numbers are a little misleading, however, as he started slowly for the third consecutive week, holding the ball too long in the pocket.

In three games this season, Garappolo has completed 59.6 percent of his passes at 8.1 yards per attempt for a passer rating of 90.0.

Although defenses have confused Garoppolo at times in the early going, his loss can't be overstated. Before he took the reins in a furious December flourish, the wayward 49ers were 1-10 under C.J. Beathard and Brian Hoyer. As optimistic as Shanahan may be about Beathard's prospects as a high-end NFL backup, this turn of events has the potential to sabotage the season for an outfit sporting a 1-2 record in a loaded NFC.

The mood in San Francisco's locker room was understandably downtrodden in the wake of Garoppolo's injury.

"It's a downer," veteran wide receiver Marquise Goodwin lamented after the game.

Barring an MRI miracle, it will be Beathard leading the 49ers into battle versus the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 4 -- and beyond. (NFL.com)

Falcons are also waiting to find out the extent of the injury to starting FS Ricardo Allen.

I really do suspect the team's approach to preseason is a factor in the injuries. They were basically at full health going into week one, but the starters had barely played throughout the preseason. They really need to do more to ramp everyone up towards playing entire games.

It wasn't just that they looked so sloppy in the Thursday Night opener against the Eagles. The entire team looked gassed, and that's when you're most likely to get hurt.

They're paying the price in a big way - they lost Pro Bowl defenders Keanu Neal and Deion Jones in that opener, starting left guard Andy Levitre in week two, and now possibly starting free safety Ricardo Allen.
