Too me it looks like your being disrespectful to the US flag... so I had to check this out. It looks bad to be honest, I don't see the correlation to Buffalo.

 

It's not just buffalo, it could be any team (.san jose,boston,tampa). Sorry if you took it that way, I don't view the country as the enemy.

 

c,mon man... there's nothing there except the US flag. I find that post and what you just said as in bad taste. First you start a thread called 'oh Canada', which I thought was exclusive and separatist and anything you've posted there could have just as well been in the ditch.

You seem to have a real problem with the US, maybe you should take that up in the political threads. Its offensive, period.

 

No, you're looking into it too much. The flag hanging up in a sports arena represents the visiting team and nothing else in that context.
The oh canada thread covers teams that weren't getting covered enoigh before like the prarie teams and the habs.

I haven't posted anything about politics on that thread.

I admit that I don't like trump, but most people in the US and the world don't like him. I fail to see your case where I have something against the US.

 

If anything, there's been many times where the canadian anthem gets booed. I've never seen the vice versa.

You show a pic of the US flag and the post says, 'the enemy'. Why wouldn't anyone not view that as an attack? How cant you see that?

 

I watch hockey every night for 50 freekin years and I never saw the Canadian anthem booed. If you did, it must have been rare and a very isolated incident.

It's happened many times, then they'll chant USA USA. Nobody in canada has ever booed the US flag.

 

I’ve never seen the Canadian anthem booed but I’ve witnessed the US anthem get mercilessly booed in Montreal. Posted it on this site in the past even.

Will, you’re certainly not wrong. Not sure if it’s skinny trolling on purpose or not but I don’t remember anyone posting a pic of another country’s flag with the caption “the enemy”.

It takes about 10 seconds to find multiple links of Montreal booing multiple US anthems over multiple years.

 

I don't understand the 'enemy' mentality when so many US clubs are loaded with Canadians.
