Iambic what? The Jacksonville Jaguars provided good news Wednesday morning at the running back position as the team prepares to face the Tennessee Titans in Week 3. Leonard Fournette, whose hamstring injury prevented him from playing in Week 2, is listed among a group of players expected to practice Wednesday, the team announced. Here are other injuries were tracking Wednesday: 1. Cleveland Browns wide receiver Jarvis Landry is questionable for Thursday's game against the New York Jets because of a knee injury. Tight end Seth DeValve has been ruled out with a hamstring injury and linebacker Christian Kirksey is doubtful. Defensive back Damarious Randall is questionable with a heel injury. 2. Jets linebacker Josh Martin and tight end Neal Sterling have been ruled out for Thursday because of a concussion and safety Marcus Maye is doubtful because of a foot injury. 3. The Atlanta Falcons are taking a wait-and-see approach with defensive end Takk McKinley, who suffered a groin injury in Week 2. McKinley is considered day to day and his status is up in the air for Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported, via a source informed of the situation. Rapoport added the injury is not considered a long-term ailment. 4. The Philadelphia Eagles placed wide receiver Mike Wallace on injured reserve with a fractured fibula. Coach Doug Pederson said he's not ruling out a possible return later in the season. Pederson said running backs Jay Ajayi (back) and Darren Sproles (hamstring) are both day to day but noted Sproles' recovery is "a little longer." The Eagles promoted undrafted running back Josh Adams to the roster Tuesday. 5. The New York Giants placed center Jon Halapio on injured reserve after he suffered fractures to his lower leg and ankle in the third quarter of Sunday's loss to the Dallas Cowboys. 6. Bills running back LeSean McCoy will be limited at practice as be battles a fractured rib cartilage suffered during a Week 2 loss to the Chargers. McCoy was spotted by reporters wearing a red non-contact jersey during Wednesday's session. 7. Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid said safety Eric Berry (heel) and defensive end Chris Jones (groin) won't practice today. (NFL.com)
^^i think $300,000 for being an Hall of Famer is insane. what do they get if they're not a HOF'er ? Nothing ?
They aren't championing anything for non-HOF members, but said, they hope to pave the way for others to get theirs in the future. Precursor for the upcoming CBA... BTW, Jerry Rice and Kurt Warner have already removed themselves from this group. I don't think they expected the backlash.
Tetrameter - a verse with four measures (as opposed to pentameter, which has five). Da-DUM, da-DUM, da-DUM, da-DUM (Jason Peters is set to play)
$1 for being a HoFer would be wrong. No way they should get a salary. This is being entitled. But these guys do not represent the average former NFL player.
Not really breaking news, but the Ravens busted for cheating yet again https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.c...ng-in-game-communications-rules-in-preseason/ *5-0 in the preseason
So, you were calling me ignorant, telling me I was talking out of my ass and whatever other derogatory remarks you made...and you weren't even discussing the premise of the entire conversation? I don't even know what to say, you did it...I'm speechless.
A proper national healthcare system would fix all of this. The players (citizens) would get free or VERY affordable healthcare and the NFL wouldn’t have to pay a dime... except for the corporate taxes they already pay. Dickerson has gone completely insane.
Maybe go back and read my words and actually try to comprehend them and you won't be so speechless. You were called ignorant for being ignorant. Sorry that bothers you...in the future don't be ignorant and you likely won't be called such. You made up for it by actually researching the topic and posting some good information on it.
I read everything, what exactly did you contribute to the conversation at all? You didn't you made derogatory comments and that's all. I had already read the article in question, which you obviously didn't since you are now saying you weren't even talking about the subject at hand. You know what that makes you? Tell him @Lyman ...
You may have read it...but there are several of your posts here that explicitly prove you don't comprehend well. I had to correct you several times on things you thought I said that I didn't actually say. If that's the way you like to argue, that's fine. But that doesn't work with me. The article I posted wasn't about the subject at hand...it was about pre-existing conditions and switching insurance or getting new insurance after not having been covered. You remember that part of the conversation, right? When I mentioned pre-existing injuries and you tried to say I meant diseases? And then when on to talk about your high school injuries? Neither of which is what I was talking about. I'm done with this because I won't continue to debate with a person that refuses to acknowledge my actual words and will substitute what he thinks I'm saying instead. Have a good one.
That's because you were talking out of your ass and not the subject matter. It's a little hard to follow you when you are going off on your own personal tangent, while criticizing others that are actually talking about the article. Here's the thing, I wasn't even trying to argue. That was the single reason for you to be on here was to start an argument, then you change your wording, and hell the actual subject without explaining that you were doing so or why. That's because injuries that occur earlier in life ARE covered by insurance that you get later in life, I don't think you are an idiot, but you seem to be struggling here. I tried to help you out as pre-existing conditions such as diseases are sometimes (not always mind you) not covered when you switch insurance, but if you tear your ACL while playing football, or get a concussion, then you stop playing football and get new insurance. When symptoms occur, like arthritis and/or head aches, etc... the new insurance covers those ailments... Again, I am not the ignorant one in this conversation. I tried to help you get yourself out of that conversation, but you keep beating a broken drum. The reading comprehension issue is with you. You read the words, you just have such high blood pressure attempting to make someone look stupid, that you can't realize what you are even writing. Take a Breath and move on...
i would like to see this battle of words and posts between bears and dawg continue but it could get ugly. if there was a way to extend a peace treaty - lets do it. you're both solid guys and posters. no need to continue the war.
