all true but sometimes these people are so high, they will shoot you and not even remember. or think you're a snitch and shoot you for being too nice and polite.

true. im glad im out of the city and living in the suburbs. after 13 yrs, i was tired of city life. seeing 12 yr old in flip flops, wearing a wife beater and their hats turn sideways talking on a cellphone was enough for me to leave. that and the city wage tax cost me $91.50 out of my paycheck. first thing i did when i took this job was asked how much city wage tax im getting back. wahoo $91.50.

 

I don't care how someone looks like, if they're respectful, I'll be respectful back.

I get homeless people that say, "have a nice night," and I wish them a good night right back, they're people too and most of the times the nicest.
I've had punks approach me thinking that they'll drop me. In some cases just looking them in the face they turn away. I tell them to go fk themselves and I have yet to see one of these cowards bring something to the table, all dbags.

 

yeah i don't put myself in those situations anymore. when i lived in south philly i took the subway everywhere. when i drank, friday night happy hours ran late. the subway was fine, but in some cases, if someone wanted to fuck with me, i wasn't in the best fighting shape due to my drunkiness. thankfully nothing ever happened. the 8 block walk home was fine as it was an old Italian neighborhood where the people were in bed early. now i live in the burbs and drive. i rarely go out anyways and i don't drink anymore so it's fine. if i go out, i go to the movies late night on weekends. i never got into the city.

 

Old Italian hood? You're safe as long as you don't insult their homemade sopperssata, capicolla or wine.

Other than that, don't tell them they suck at bocce and you're good.

 

right out of the Packer Ave Subway station was an Italian Bocce Club. haha. Passed it a million times on my way home from work and Happy Hours. hahahaha.

 

If I was walking by there I would cover my face, just so they wouldn't ask me to play.

I'd rather walk past dog parks.

 

it was a private club and the youngest people in there were close to 60 yrs old. haha.

 

They used to have the world series of bocce somewhere in NY state ( syracuse or utica). Hundreds from ontario used to flock there lol. It turned out to be a bragging contest of who made the best wine, and everybody getting drunk lol.
