You may be right but, it certainly looks as if those are all homer picks. While I can understand picking your team to win each week, I can't understand why anyone would want every other team in a division to lose every week. Take care of your own games and you will win the division and get into the playoffs. I think I would prefer teams that my team plays 6 times every year to win as many games as possible to in order to improve my opponents' win percentage. Opponents win percentage is the 1st tie breaker when determing draft order.
Zippy chance of that happening unless they play a HELL of a lot better than they did last week. If the line is under 5, take BMore easily. Carr completed 25 of 27 passes at one point.
The complete opposite of what will happen, lol I think Cin & Balt win And the Cleveland Lymans get their first win since 2016 Not sure about our beloveds but I don’t have a good feeling. Unless Fitzmagic (aka McGregor) goes back to his old ways.
In my office pool, I picked the AFC North to win out this week. The toughest choice was Cin @ Car. I concur with the call on the Browns.
Let’s JUST HOPE Techheart is right! I will buy and send him and bottle of Jack Daniels Old#7 black label (750ml) and a couple of lollipops if this occurs. JMac
Like Spress said NYJ were ready to blow that sorry team out until #22 wanted to get tough and get unsportsmanlike penalty and lose all the momentum...they were getting the ball back and probably going up 3 scores.....btw NYJ just ran another WR screen...nice offense lol
Oh btw Irish is asking if Gordon regrets his decision now....LOL...ya he doesn’t like getting thrown peas from Brady...rather have Taylor or Mayfield lol
It appears the origin of my picks was in fact the jack daniels, not the supreme being ... JMac - no need to send more JD, it's making my picks foggy
Beloved Lyman, although I was incorrect in my AFC North picks this week, I was absolutely correct about Baker playing right now instead of Tyrod being a good thing for your team! To your point though, hopefully your O-line doesn't get him flattened. Now I'm off to watch highlights of the game and see how the NFL is creating ahem promoting ahem just lucky to have a new budding star at QB somewhere.
While its unfortunate that it took a trip to the wacky tent by Taylor for Mayfield to be inserted, it couldn't have worked out better for the Browns. Hue Jackson's logic for starting Taylor against the Steelers and Saints was sound and, for the most part, people bought in. For 20 years, the most popular person in Cleveland was the Browns' backup QB. And, for most of those 20 years, QB controversies divided not only the fan base but the team itself. The way this went down provided a direct apples to apples comparison of the two. Same opponent, same surrounding cast, same weather conditions, much different results. IN MY OPINION, I think Jackson would have inserted Mayfield at halftime even if Taylor hadn't been knocked out of the game in the 2nd qtr. By doing so, he avoided yet another QB controversy in Cleveland and, at the same time, ended up with a new starting QB.
Did not validate this, but saw it on the interwebs - Ben's record by month (regular season only): Sep 21-21-1 - .500 Oct 36-12-0 - .750 Nov 33-17-0 - .660 Dec 41-15-0 - .732 Jan... 5-0-0 - 1.000 If so then that’s some telling stuff huh? He is due a big fat win or two in September bay bay !! And you can see how he will unleash hell October thru January (reg season games)
I wonder why the line got so much better all of a sudden. Taylor was hit on 12 of his 14 passing attempts.
