Also, I'm not yet in "Mock Draft Season", but I've got my eyes on our next first round pick:

Left-to-right: Emmanuel Ogbah, Dre'Mont Jones, Larry Ogunjobi, Myles Garrett

Good luck 31 other offensive lines.

Please NO Blaire Walsh...and why have I not seen any citings of Dan Bailey in Cleveland yet? I would have thought he would be on the red eye last night...

Cairo Santos, former Chief. I think we know where this is headed...

I'm ok with Santos actually. I just for the life of me don't know why they wasted the plane ticket and food to bring in Walsh..

Good, Bad, and Ugly (in one play):

Ugly: Tyrod underthrows Landry by almost 15 yards on this where the Saints rush only three, giving him ample protection and time.

Bad: As the OP points out, Callaway realizes the game hinges on this play and he has to become the one to "go get it".

Good: Callaway displays incredible speed, and veteran-like awareness to make the adjustment. Then makes a spectacular finger-tip catch for the score.

I know this is a fan, but....

Who would trade Josh Gordon and a first round pick for AB?

Again, I'm not ignorant Steeler fans, this is a hypothetical, I understand it isn't relevant to anything but AB getting upset with a Steeler fan.

Looked to me like Calloway had the deep route and Landry had the short(er) route. If so, then Tyrod OVERthrew both of them and Calloway made a spectacular play to catch up to the ball.

I would trade Josh Gordon to the Steelers for Antonio Brown and their first round pick. Gotta pay me if I'm taking a down-grade at the position.
    FWIW...

I was thinking the same thing, I think @SAS was misunderstanding Landry. I think what Landry was saying is, at first, he thought it was supposed to be to him, but that ball obviously was going to the deeper route, which was Callaway...still slightly over thrown, unless you admit that Callaway had an extra gear he wasn't using in the first 20 yards of the route. Had he kicked it in earlier, it might not have been such a fantastic play, just a perfect pass to a great route.

Fact is, this QB is still learning his receivers. That is a factor in evaluating Tyrod, which is why I'm not TOTALLY on the bench him bandwagon. The reason I believe in getting Baker in there sooner than later is wins. I think Baker is the better QB and has had an opportunity to learn game day prep...now is the time

Good point...but if he kicked it in the first 20 yds, does he have it for the whole route? o_O

Reminds me of years ago when David Wright made that "great" barehanded catch for the Mets. He was only in position to make that "amazing" play because he took an awful path to the ball. If he read the ball right, he would have been camped under it.

    If its any consolation . . .

The Browns are no longer the #32 team in 247Sports(CBS) week 2 power rankings. We're now all the way up to #30! Yay, us !!! :rally:

OK @Tim ...Here's another reason to fire Hue...As a HC, if you know you have ONE kicker on the roster and don't force the GM to get one if he has a groin injury, I think that is also on that HC... GM is on the hook for this too, but man, unless this is a false report then Gonzo is taking a lot of heat for something out of his control.

If it IS false reporting, then Hue goes way over board in protecting players and that is also a major flaw.

Correction: The Browns are up to #29 (not #30).

    30 - Arizona Cardinals
    31 - Indianapolis Colts
    32 - Buffalo Bills

That means there are still FOUR 0-2 teams ranked ahead of the Browns...

    Detroit Lions
    NY Giants
    Oakland Raiders
    Houston Texans

and the 0-1-1 Steelers of course... whom we outplayed

    Here's another reason . . .

Its been reported that there is a rudabega famine in Slovacia and Hue did NOTHING to provide clean rudabegas to the Slovacians. ;)

Yep. Goes to my point about preconceived notions of a 1-31 team.
