Make Munchak head coach....fire Tomlin right now.....unfortunately Rooney doesn't have the guts or the brains to do it
It's obvious.....but there are still some that will say that shouldn't happen and bring up his w-l record which is clearly the product of having a future hall of famer at qb his entire tenure.....evaluate tomlin based on what he contributes....as far as i can tell that's a dysfunctional culture, poor coaching (if any), cheerleading (as terry says i think), aviator glasses, deer in headlights look, tricky leg sideline antic capability, hungry hungry hippos gameplans, lack of disciplined team, lack of motivated team etc etc etc.....like i said, it's obvious.....just look at what he is contributing or not.....tubby smith tomlin, man.....
I'm hoping for 0-15-1 .... as AJM said at end of last year, same old crap, they are going to not win another super bowl with tomlin - not going to happen.....sooner the losses need to stack up to make that happen to get him fired, the better ... problem is the HOF qb has never had a losing season and he is now done with pre-season apparently and will probably win 8 games at least leading that offense it appears as he still has stuff in the tank....keep waiting for the year he ends up with average stats...that will be the year the ones still defending tomlin get to realize how good of a coach tomlin is not #FireTomlin
I'm usually pretty optimistic, but Mahomes schooled Ben. Ben had a pretty good statistical game, and did play well enough to win the game. But there were multiple times where he locked in on one guy and never looked at anyone else. Mahomes showed great vision, looked off the safeties and was extremely accurate. Every pass seemed to be on the money, where as Ben makes the receivers work for every reception. To be fair, Mahomes usually had multiple open guys to throw to because the Steelers only seemed to have 2 players on the field at any given time. Yes, the defense is the reason the Steelers lost today, no doubt. Just pointing out that Ben made more rookie type mistakes than the guy making his 3rd career start.
