I mean, if I was paying for the game film, I'd show it to you. I guess I'll just have to settle for the assumption that, if your quarterback is running 10+ times, there's probably someone he can throw it to during that time. Unless, of course, our receiving options are so utterly bad that no one was open each and every time. I just have a hard time believing that.

I can't agree with this more. I had forgotten the fucking 3rd and 1 and you think a FG is going to be sufficient to get this game, but even there, at least FUCKING run the ball and it probably rolls down to the 2 minute warning.

Then again, Rodgers needed a whoppin 30 seconds or whatever it was to score the goddamn TD.

Didn't we win the TO battle 2-0? I think that's one of the first times I've seen a Bears game where we lose and win the TO battle.

Oh and Fuck Clay Matthews late hitting bullshit. Extended the game but that's the kind of cheap shit that makes me hate the Pack all the more.

Good QB’s find a way to get their team in FG range with 2+minutes and 2 time outs. I’ll have to watch the all 22 but I am willing to bet a lot of money Trubisky shit the bed bad in the 2 minute offense. Sucks I really wanted a good QB for a change.

  8. I still remember the 90’s Monday Night game Favre had a broken fucking ankle, wasn’t supposed to play, came out and threw 5 TDs. He was immobile as fuck, and the goddam Bears could get NO pressure on him STILL.

The 2nd half was fucking PTSD for me. Rogers is fucking HURTING, and they got NO pressure on him the 2nd half at all.

ARods knee is no bueno. I would be surprised if he can play through it the rest of the season. Only makes it worse that he was able to absolutely torch our defense in the second half.

Ten plus times? That’s a stretch at best.

Regardless, you made the statement, so back it up. He was under pressure a lot though too.

Did he take off early a few times? Probably. Did he make several first downs with his feet and escape sacks that our last fuckstick QB would’ve taken and fumbled the ball in the process? Fuck yes he did.

Anyone that wants to jump, fucking jump. But don’t jump back on.

Nagy called a shit game. Don’t blame essentially a rookie QB in prime time against the Packers.

Oh... bull fucking shit. You don’t watch many Packer games do ya? Every fucking game there’s limping and drama and close ups of knees and ankles... yet... POOF! She’s not injured!

Dude if you couldn’t see that Trubisky had a serious problem pulling the trigger on way too many throws I don’t know what to tell you. I hope it’s something Trubisky can get better at but not hopefull. Last season we blamed the weak ass receivers. Maybe the Packers defense is that good but again I doubt it.

Trubisky ran 7 times, not including the times he started running and either threw or didn't make it to the LOS. You're contending that the motherfucker wasn't running around the whole time back there? Because that was my original statement - that he couldn't stand still and deal with even the idea of pressure.
I'm going to bed, and I'm not spending money to show you how asinine your defense is, but you saying that Trubisky "probably" took off early a few times means that we "probably" weren't watching the same game.

I'm not defending Nagy. No one is defending Nagy. You're the only one defending Trubisky.

My assertion was and is that Trubisky let the idea of pressure keep him from being an effective QB. He rushed throws, couldn't stay in the pocket to save his life, and didn't set his feet, among other things. Do you disagree?

Hell, you wanna compare him to Shithead? That all sounds a whole hell of a lot like Shithead to me.

Trubisky seems to be a different QB under pressure or pressure situations.
That first half he was throwing with laser precision and in the last half his throws were more often uncharacteristically off their mark.
Play calling is certainly one thing, but if you can't execute the pass accurately what difference does it make?
His first couple drives were scripted and he looked pretty damn sharp, I only hope that his poor play is from lack of experience and can still grow into it rather than being shell shocked and happy footed.

That's what this boiled down to for me. He played a 45 minute game when its 60, and he just went braindead in the 3rd quarter and just got too cute when he didn't have to be. Can somebody tell him that sometimes you don't need misdirection when the goal is shoving it down their throats because they're giving up 5-6 yards per carry to Jordan Howard.

15 rushes for 82 yards is inexcusable. But, Howard did go 5 for 5 catching passes out of backfield. Silver lining because he wasn't dropping wide open passes.

Trey Burton, the guy you had to give a ton of money to to be your guy really showed up.

Games like that are why I'm baffled Dion Sims is on the roster.

    CB play was atrocious.

Did that shitstain troll follow through and shoot himself?

And I'm not jumping off. Not after game 1. I got through 3 and a half quarters before turning it off, and I can't remember when I last gave the bears that time of day. Last year they got one offensive series.

Its times like this i know i've been watching this team too long because they're making me cynical.

The reason i say that is cos i wasn't expecting anything other than a lose from this game. Even worse, the fact they lost in such gut-wrenching fashion really came as no shock at all.

Go back just over the last decade and look at some of those Packers losses. Fatass BJ Raji's pick 6, the phantom flag on Knox's punt return for a TD, the week17 fumble where everyone just stopped and stared at the ball on the ground. Its what the Bears do.

So yeah, its annoyed the hell out of me, of course, but it came as no shock. In fact i would go as far as to say Rodgers scoring a TD with his final possession was entirely predictable. That FG was totally meaningless.

And i f_cking hate Randall Cobb.

he was not getting the ball out in time on several of those runs.

Was it because his guys were covered? I'll watch the film and let you know.

But I hold Nagy 100% accountable for this loss. He played "not to lose" from the opening drive of the 2nd half until the last drive on both sides of the ball. He fucking "John Fox'd" that game last night.

Going to post more later. Still too pissed to even discuss.

  18. Bear-man 11 Franchise Player Bears

    I do not.

My assertion is that he got first downs and escaped sacks on several occasions by using his legs. Do you disagree with that?

I also don’t see anyone blaming the defense for allowing the largest 4th quarter comeback I believe in Bears/Packers history.

Don’t see anyone blaming our Trestman 2.0, smartest-guy-he-knows coach for sitting the starters in game 3. Sure seems like a poor decision now doesn’t it?

Trubisky was running a brand new offense for the first game on a gigantic stage. I expected jitters. With more experience I think he’ll improve by leaps and bounds. But he needs a play caller that knows to run the god damn ball, stop all the hairy high school misdirection bullshit, and use the middle of field.

I don’t think what happened last night had anything to do with starters sitting.

Packers had players that missed a lot of preseason too.

I was unhappy with the play calling as well and I hope to see a lot of improvement from Trubisky but you can’t deny he shit the bed in the 2nd half regardless of the play calling.

  20. Bear-man 11 Franchise Player Bears

The Packers don’t have easentially a rookie quarterback trying to grasp a brand new offense either. They have Aaron Rodgers.

Would playing game 3 have helped? I say so, but maybe not. It sure as shit wouldn’t have hurt though.
